Morgawr wasn't sure what she was doing in this tournament. Obviously, she knew she was here to fight, but she didn't know if she even stood a chance at winning. She wanted to, sure, but she would be about as happy if one of her siblings won. Especially Levi, even though she had a feeling he would be insufferable about it. He was the littlest of them and probably the most attached to his pride. She didn't pay much attention to what other wolves were doing, but she knew somewhere that her small brother ought to win this. She knew it the same way that she knew what the next plot twist in a story should be. It would just be right.

Still, she'd try her best, whatever that was. It would be really, really right if she got second place and Levi got first. It was one of those weird things that she didn't really care about but still wanted to do well at. Maybe that was normal.

It was a little odd that in both her race pairing and fighting pairing, that Callie would be put against a sibling. Perhaps the organizers simply wanted to see who was best of their litter and have only that individual move up in the ranks to victory. Of course Calypso knew it would be herself - or maybe Basilisk, if he had joined the competition - to win, but before it was official she'd need to beat up her sister. It wasn't something she really wanted to do - sisters were supposed to stick together - but Morgawr put herself in this tournament so, she'd have to accept that she might lose or get hurt.

"Good luck!" She offered good naturedly as she moved across from her opponent. While she waited for the cue to start, Calypso gathered herself into her fighting stance, set her defenses, and gave her sister a devilish grin.

As soon as the cue was given, the pup launched herself at Morgawr. She was larger, and so her first move was of course to try and slam the bulk of her weight directly into her sister's smaller chest.

"Speech"

Morgawr was good-natured in her outlook on this spar. She wasn't going to hurt her sister, and she wasn't going to hurt her. The loner pup wasn't the closest to any of her siblings -- or anyone, for that matter -- but nobody disliked her. Not enough to hurt her in front of everybody, at least. Maybe they didn't like her (why did that thought sting; she didn't care, she didn't care), but they wouldn't do that. It would simply be an easy, fun play-fight.

She nodded and grinned back at Calypso as she wished her luck, and called back, You too!", tail wagging. Calypso wasted no time, slamming her weight into Morgawr's chest. She was stunned backward and barely resisted a yelp. But she wasn't a slow pup, much as she sometimes acted it, and retaliated quickly. She crouched low to keep herself from being rolled over if Cal hit her again and snapped at the air a few times before trying actually to land a nip at her sister's chest.

Calypso was forced to shift her weight backwards as Morgawr gave her warning nips, then finally a real attempt toward her chest. It was difficult to balance, and Calypso found there was a wobbly moment in her backpedaling where she struggled to refind her center of gravity. Morgawrs teeth found their mark in a graze, though were unable to take firm hold of the flesh there. Rather then attempt the tackle and struggle with the consequences again, she lifted her paw and brought it down towards her sister's muzzle, hoping to give it a good thwack on her nose. She knew from experience how sensitive the spot was - and that if hit hard enough, it could make your eyes water - so perhaps it would give her the opening she needed to finish her sister off.

Morgawr managed to graze her sister's chest with her teeth but was quickly retaliated against with a smack of Calypso's paw against her nose. That hurt! Her eyes watered, and she stumbled backwards, trying to regain her bearings. "Meanie!" she yelled, dramatic as always: acting as if she'd just been deeply betrayed. Her own sister. Such cruelty. Morgawr wasn't as good of an actor as she thought she was, though, and she giggled despite herself, then swinging out wildly with her right paw to attempt to smack Calypso on her shoulder. She had no idea what she was doing, but she was having fun for once. If she won, she'd be happy. If she didn't, she'd wish her siblings luck and go on her way.
