Serenity could feel over the last few weeks how out of shape she had become. She liked to blame the strange moon and creatures that kept her inside the castle walls, but there was a small thought in the back of her head that made her feel like being part of The Hallows, a pack, it had made her lazy. She did have her own little perch up on the castle walls where she spent most of her time, all her time she wasn't patrolling or hunting. But she pretended that this wasn't the case, being lazy that was.
She went to the training grounds of the castle, scoping out the few dummies that Ulric had set up. But it wasn't what she had in mind. She gave out a gentle call inside the walls, looking for a spar partner. She hoped she hadn't made herself dislikable with how unnoticeable she was.

The plague was over now. Avantika was glad, although she still wished that she'd been able to figure out where the event had come from. Maybe it was just like the sun and stars, phenomena without explanation that had simply always been there. But something about the ooze had felt different. It had hurt her. It had hurt the people she loved, too, and that was more important. Avantika would die for her people. Audra still only had one eye, and the whole pack was recovering from their own ordeals. Wasn't she entitled to some sort of why?
But she couldn't stop and think for too long. Time moved on and Avantika would be damned if she'd let herself slip and fall behind. Her skills were pushed to as close to perfection as she could get, but she knew Art wanted the other members of the pack to sharpen theirs as well. She could train them.
She only had to wander around for a few minutes before a call rose out, asking for exactly what she wanted to provide. Serenity was the woman's name. She didn't know her well, but it would be fine. She didn't need to. Arriving, she'd greet the woman, voice friendly, "Hey."
Avantika is prone to panic attacks. Keep in mind when roleplaying with her.
Her companions, a female sharp-shinned hawk named Kaata and a black-thighed falconet named Kit can be assumed to always be close by unless otherwise stated.
