Dream A Little Dream

The warm sunshine wraps the galaxy clad pup in a soft, cozy blanket. Summer seems to make the pup drowsier than normal (what is normal for a pup?) and he finds his eyelids falling down. A loud yawn can be heard as Kore forcefully blinks open his eyes. His tired brain tries to remember what he was doing, so he casts his bright blue gaze around. Off in the distance, he spies the family den. Right, he was going to take a nap. Legs start moving again as he makes his way toward the den. Hopefully auntie Motif will be there and he can curl up with her. Last night, his dreams had been plagued with feelings of longing and searching for something just beyond his reach. The nebula hued boy had woken feeling sad and he could really use some cuddle time with his auntie. Tired eyes blink open (when had they closed?) and Kore continues toward the family den. Thoughts swirl and collide in the pup’s head and questions beg him to be answered. Maybe auntie can help him with that. Finally, dark paws pull the galaxy boy through the entrance to their den and he quickly tries to blink away the darkness. While his eyes adjust, Kore calls out softly, “Auntie Motif? Are you here?”
