Calypso had her eye on that darn island since the day she was born and damnit, she was going to convince someone to take her there. Her first try had been a failure, her father gave her no explanation other then his simple, very clear "no", and her mother was still hiding in her den naked, so that wasn't an option. A lightbulb had then gone off in the pups head and she had sprinted off toward her grandfather, explaining her desperate desires and finding that he was more than happy to take her on an adventure. Thus the two wolves started across the sea, with Calypso clinging desperately to Sirius' waterlogged back.

Her excitement grew the closer the island became, and no sooner then did Sirius' paws touch the shallows did she bolt off his back running. "I'mma go look around, can you find some lunch, I'm hungry thaaaanks!" The pup yelled as she ran, not looking back to see if her granddad was following her. It was a common assumption for the Fatalis puppies that someone would be keeping an eye on them, and it didn't bother Callie to know that Seer himself if not one of his companions were probably slinking close behind.

The island was grand and massive and already much cooler then the territories she'd grown familiar with inland. No wonder Ashen had claimed a cluster of islands for their territory - islands were the best! Calypso hopped along as the sand turned to grass and then to stone, approaching quickly the center of the island where a towering structure she could not name loomed above her.

Curiosity got the better of her and Calypso shuffled in through the ajar door, her every sense on fire as the world around her changed so drastically on the inside. Beneath her feet was some sort of long thin stone, except it covered the entire area as far as the eye could see and right up to the walls. She gave it a tentative tap with her paw and found it unyielding, and thus safe to walk across. The further she moved into the building the weirder things became, and once she went to move outside and found herself crashing her head into some invisible wall that she could clearly see out of, but not walk out of.

Her eyes were slowly adjusting to the dim light as the pup ventured further, finding that each new step she was discovering something new. A weird looking tree base lay adjacent to the wall, but it had somehow been opened and she could see there were small metal trinkets hidden inside it. Testing her paw against the opening Calypso found that it moved, sliding shut and hiding the contents within. Unable to open it again, she moved further until she found the next tree-thing that was waiting to be raided. Within it she'd found a small shred of metal, unidentifiable in purpose but interesting nonetheless. Her sister had interest in things like this, and so Calypso tucked the trinket away to bring home for her later.

The rooms for the most part were similar enough that Calypso began to know what to expect on the inside of them. More hidden tree stumps stood with their precious trinkets in their drawers, and occasionally she'd find a large rectangle that squished beneath her paws. She'd spent a good few moments jumping up and down upon that rectangle before finding herself breathless with giggles and effort, and ready to move on.

Sirius would be waiting for her to join him for lunch and so Calypso deemed it time to leave the very cool building. She stepped out the doors (not the fake see-through wall this time) and surveyed the courtyard, trying to remember from which direction she'd come and thus, where Sirius had set them up on the beach. She glanced up at the setting sun for direction, remembering that they had swam towards it on their trip. Following the sun was a trick Halo had taught her, and Calypso was very glad to have found more uses for it then simply escaping the tall grass maze that made up her home.

She turned away from the setting sun, heading back towards the beach where her grandfather and their meal awaited. Beneath her paws stone turned back to thick, lush grass and then back once more to sand as she neared the shore. Out in the distance she could see her pack lands and Calypso spent a moment wondering what everyone was doing back at home. Maybe for her next adventure she'd invite one of her siblings along, but this island was important to her and she had been desperate to explore it by herself. Now that the wanderlust within her was calmed, it was time to spend some quality time with grandpa.

While she is underage, Azure, Hanako and Sirius can crash her threads whenever they see fit regardless of tag.

Calypso has grizzly bear claws upon her forepaws, bone spurs on her shoulder blades, and saber-teeth. These may not be visible on her art.
Wherever color appears along Calypso's pelt, the fur there pulses and glows to the beat of her heart. The effect is noticeable, but not at all blinding.
