Serenity was filled with a new paranoia from the previous events of the last couple seasons. She was usually such a carefree character, and over the course of what happened was such a supernatural event, she felt like it shouldn't have bothered her. But it was the complete opposite, what she didn't understand is what scared her. And even with the new sun coming around day after day and not leaving them in a cold glowing night, the feelings did not subside.

After spending what felt like hours trying to sleep, she had rested on the castle walls which was where she was almost all the time. Her thoughts dimmed as she went into sleep, internally cringing at the thought of nightmares that seemed to plague her these days. But this dream was different as it came to light. A hazy figure before her and as it grew closer she realized it was a large deer. But as the deer grew closer to her, it was fading into more of those nightmares she couldn't escape. The deer didn't mean her harm, but it was encrusted with numerous crystals along it's body. She couldn't help the fear she felt from it's presence, but also didn't have the urge to run away. It did seem gentle but she didn't trust it from the crystals that it showed.

Deer Dad's Blessing

Be Blessed, and go in Peace

Thee deer walks towards you and you feel though you neither can run nor trust this being. You instead follow cautiously as it roams. You find that the deer is your height- or are you the deer's height? His hooves click on the castle halls, and yours do similarly as they always have. The light tip tapping of the hooves on stone is comforting, but the scent smells wrong. Pungent. Busy. It's a pack scent, not the scent of a grassy herd in free air. The deer nears the exit and steps up into the air and you find yourself following as if its the most natural thing in the world. Outside of the castle walls, the moon shines brilliantly and the higher you go, the safer you feel until all nightmares wash away. Up, into the clouds you find yourself, large plumes of soft-smelling dampness cloud your vision and the dream fades.

When you awake, it is much later than you've slept in a very long time and you, for once, feel well rested.
