It had started out simply enough. She was hungry, the scent of deer was on the air. Now she found herself concealed under the canopy of a willow, watching the strangest beast she had ever seen. It looked like a deer, if you could ignore the fangs that jutted from it’s upper lip, much like Sirius’s fangs. Only difference was, these ones seemed to move. At first they curved back to make room for the deer to eat, but when she had accidentally snapped a branch underfoot, the deers head had shot up, and brown eyes seemed to bore into silver, and a foreign feeling washed over her.

She exhaled slowly, lowering herself from her hunters crouch into a reclined sprawl, eyes narrowing in a silent question as the strange beast failed to flee. The air seemed to crackle with static, and she found herself unable to stand.

The beast and you have a stare-down that feels as if it lasts for hours on end. You blink and you find yourself staring at a familiar marked wolf. Blink again and you're again looking at the deer. You find this soothing, as if being both was meant to be. Your teeth shift and move in your mouth, but you can't tell if it's your wolf teeth or your deer teeth. Maybe there was never a difference? A branch cracks, and you glance behind you. Were you a wolf or a deer?
