Today is beautiful! It has to be the most beautiful day since… yesterday! The warm sun brings out the happy pup’s adventurous side and Seere finds herself running back and forth along the beach near the palace. There is so much to see and do! She can’t waste one moment! Looking up at the seagulls overhead, the monochromatic pup races onward not paying any attention to the dangers that lay ahead. A sharp rock juts up from the sand, partially hiddenly but still noticeable to those looking at the ground. Unfortunately, Seere is too focused on the birds and her paws grow closer and closer to the sharp danger.

Pain shoots through the pup’s front right paw as it hits the jagged edge of the rock and she yelps in pain while trying to shift her weight away from the source of her pain. Her ankle shifts in a painful way and she tumbles sideways into the sand coming to rest in a puddle of tears and agony. Curling her leg toward her body, Seere tries to cradle the throbbing paw and ankle while tears flow from her eyes. Are mommy and her daddies going to be mad at her? Maybe they don’t even know she hurt herself. A particularly painful throb causes her to yelp again and she closes her eyes, hoping to melt away into the sand.

"Seere Abraxas-Destruction"

Rava spent the majority of her time tucked away in the darkness of the Palace, where she didn’t have to see anyone but her puppies and the two men who loved and cared for her. They knew how cooped up she liked to be, so Void had encouraged her to get some fresh air and sunshine. Rava adorned her cloak, despite making it so far still felt more comfortable with the garment on when she ventured beyond the palace’s stone walls.

Dark paws sunk into the warm sands and the ocean breeze kissed her exposed nose. There was no reason to think this was not a lovely day. Except for the pain yelp of her own child. Rava immediately went cold at the sound, and found her feet moving before her brain caught up. She raced down the beach a ways where little Seere had crumpled on the sand.

”Seere!” She worried heavily as she reached her daughter, quickly putting a comforting paw to her back as she searched her features and the rest of her dainty form for obvious injury. ”What happened?” Rava asked softly, pulling her into a hug when she was sure it wouldn’t hurt her.

Plague had learned pretty quickly while watching Venom's children grow up that pups often found themselves in some kind of trouble and was reminded of that quickly as his own pups started to get out and explore the world. Pups were luckily pretty resilient despite their soft exteriors so they could usually fall down and bounce right back up again, but little injuries here and there were bound to happen. He was doing a quick patrol of the island where the palace was located, always keeping close to his children just in case he was needed, so when he was walking down the beach and spotted Rava rushing toward something in the distance he was immediately worried and picked up his pace into a lope to go see what was going on.

What he found was Seere cradling her paw while Rava was pulling their pup into her to comfort her, clearly hurt by something while on her little adventure along the shore. "Shhhh, it's okay, my darling," he told her softly as he settled onto his stomach in front of her, giving her a comforting smile as he lifted a paw to wipe away the tears from her cheeks, careful not to scratch her with his talons that he was still adjusting to. "What happened, Seere?" he questioned as he oh so gently and carefully took her paw in his own, just letting it rest on top of his own so he wouldn't put any pressure on it and holding it out where Rava could take a closer look as well.

Plague Abraxas-Destruction

Saia had only noticed both Rava and Plague gathered together and hadn't noticed her sister's presence. But she recognized their stances and how different they would be if they were just spending time together outside of the palace walls. She knew something was off.

Saia carefully approached, seeing Seere in tears and Rava and Plague ready to hear what she had done. At first thought, Saia could have rolled her eyes like what now. But really seeing her sister in this state hit close to her heart and she found herself worried that she had really hurt herself. She came along the other side of Rava from Plague, laying down in their own little circle around Seere, "It'll be okay Seere." She offered a small smile as she looked up to her parents, just trying to be there as support for her sister like she should.

"Saia Abraxas-Destruction"

Seere lays in the sand, eyes firmly shut as she curls into herself, tears soaking the fur on her cheeks. Her mother’s voice reaches the hurting pup’s ears and she blinks open her watery mismatched eyes. Sniffling loudly, the monochrome girl reaches her good front leg toward her mommy and gives a soft whimper as Rava calls out her name. Mommy sounds so worried and the pup suddenly feels horrible for causing her mom stress. As the woman pulls her in, the pup mumbles out, “I’m sorry.” in an attempt to soothe her mommy’s concern.

As Rava asks what happened, her father appears next to them, making the girl wiggle in her mom’s arms as he offers soothing words. Fresh tears spill from her mismatched eyes as Plague gently wipes them away and Seere gives a loving coo to her dad. He echoes Rava’s question as Saia approaches to round out the party. As her sister’s red and black coat moves to settle in near the monochrome pup, Saia offers the hurt pup a small smile and kind words. Seere returns her sister smile in kind before sadness quickly pulls her lips back down.

Seere finally explains what happened, the words suddenly tumbling out at a fast clip as she says, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to worry you. I… I was running and, and that rock bit me!” Using her good paw, the pup stabs it toward where the rock juts out of the soft sand, and gives the offending object an accusing glare. Plague gentle holds her injured paw in his own and Seere turns her mismatched gaze up to him, wide, watery eyes begging him to make the throbbing stop. Curling in toward Rava, the monochrome pup looks at her sister and whispers, “Thank you.” The tears have slowed and Seere sniffles while offering Saia a tiny smile. As much as she hates being hurt, the pup is grateful to have such a loving family.


"Seere Abraxas-Destruction"

Plague was swift to come after her, the protective father that he was, and more heartwarming was Saia after. They were all so very concerned with their beloved Seere. Plague offered his protective presence and Saia gave her sister the comfort only a sweet sibling like her could. Seere eventually felt comfortable enough to explain, now that she had her family around her. She said she was sorry repeatedly but Rava wouldn’t accept it.

”You don’t need to be sorry.” She soothed her daughter as she spoke up about a rock biting her. ”Rocks don’t bite, Seere. Did you stub your toe on it?” She asked as she pet the back of Seere’s head to offer comfort as she tried to look at her hurt toe. It was obvious by now she would be fine, but pain was never something Rava wanted her children to experience, but it was part of life. The pain would subside, but her family’s support would not.
