It was time to set off on her grand adventure - yet Kaija couldn't shake the feeling that she was making a terrible mistake. She knew she couldn't dwell on the past, that was one thing both her parents had taught her, but it was hard to not think of Ophie and how sad she'd looked when she'd asked her to come with her. This trip would be way more fun with her, but she couldn't let that drag her down, at least not completely. Before long she'd make her way back with a ton of stories to tell her, Kaija was sure of it. Now she just had to make sure she actually went on a adventure and saw some cool stuff, even if she wasn't sure where to start. Currently she was waltzing beside a river, this section nearly completely concealed by lush vegetation. The sounds of wildlife filled her ears; somewhere above her head a bird was singing an repetitive tune while occasionally swarms of bugs zoomed around her head, attracted to the rushing water. Finally deciding to pause her trek for a drink, she made to push through the underbrush, climbing over vines and thick grass and shoving her tusked head past reeds as she made her way to the edge of the river.
