"Speech!"
Spark wasn't exactly having the best of times. It was so loud here, she was surrounded by wolves but she still felt apart from them all, she felt completely alone even among the throngs. She breathed a tight sigh, seated at the edge of one of the rows of stalls as she watched the ebb and flow of others as they moved. She decided that she probably wouldn't stay too long, maybe catch the tournaments but otherwise, she wasn't interested in sticking around too much. Still, might as well get a souvenir right? She wandered closer to one of the coydogs inviting wolves to play their game. A ring toss. Well might as well give it a try.

The coydog whoops when your ring makes it over a dowel. ”Well done, sugar! Y’all come on over and get your prize!”
She hands you a bracelet with a strange charm on it.
Aquarius charm: a charm in the shape of the astrological sign, worn on a simple leather strip. When broken at the start of a race, the charm causes the course to become wet and muddy, making treacherous footing for the opponent! (-10% to opponent's balance score in a race)

Veigar would never admit it to anyone, but a game of skill was... well, proving mildly panic-inducing to him. His sight had not yet improved - as he expected, it had gradually worsened, though its decline was so slow and steady it was hard to tell for sure. He could see everything pretty decently still, at least up close, though things far away were difficult to make out properly, and clusters of repeating shapes like these rings and pegs were extremely hard for him to focus on. His brow furrowed tightly, painfully, as he grabbed one of the rings and tried to focus on anything at all. It mostly all blurred together, worsening the harder he focused, so after a frustratingly long time he simply flung it and hoped for the best.

Veigar is completely blind; his eyes are a hazy shade of pale yellow, though he tries his best to hide this fact.
His saliva also glows a faint shade of neon green since the Ooze event.

Noëlie all but danced around the festival, hopping from booth to booth, basking in the chorus of sounds, and colors, and tantilizing smells. This place was glorious. She'd never seen so many wolves in one place, not since she'd taken her lessons, and even then the wolves there had been far less.. interesting. There were a plethora of sizes and heights, of colors and patterns, and even some strange.. mutations she'd never considered possible before.
She stumbled upon the coydog's booth, his advertisement promising challenge and prizes. With nothing to lose, the fae stepped up to try her luck, taking the ring between her jaws and giving it a toss, hoping to land something good.

Milo hadn't been expecting any sort of fanfare or pomp when he'd returned to Boreas. It had been just over a year since his departure from the lands to pursue further adventures and exploration in the name of knowledge and anthropology, and while the lands he'd once roamed seemed familiar, the hustle and bustle of the carnival had not been something he'd expected to see! It was all so lively, with booths and tents of bright colors all over the lush valley while wolves of all ages and allegiances perused and had a good time. It was all so splendid and really made the brute glad he'd come back! Walking between the crude stands with "oohs" and "aahs" of amazement, Milo's attention was suddenly pulled by a coydog carnie calling out for him to try his luck at a ring toss game. Sure! Why not? he thought to himself as he stepped up, grabbing a ring from the counter and giving it a hurl with all his might toward the field of sticks.

Keelin curiously approached a booth where it seemed like some passing wolves were stopping to play for prizes. The game looked simple enough, just tossing a ring toward a peg and hoping it landed. She was certain that whatever she won would simply go to Merrick if she got it, but perhaps she could spin it in a way to make it seem like that's why she had played the game in the first place. She waited from a distance until the counter cleared out a bit and she walked up, quietly taking one of the rings between her teeth. She gave it a toss with a flick of her head, not really expecting much from it, but feeling as if playing the game made her presence at this random carnival a tiny bit more significant.

Malik rode happily on top of his dad's back, sitting back a bit on his scruff so his littler sisters could have the spot closer to the top of his head so they could see better. The carnival was full of bright colors, lots of sounds, and smells and everywhere he looked there was something new to see. They had only just gotten acquainted with the beach that was right outside their den and now they got to see all of these things! When his parents had taken their turns playing a ring throwing game, he reached for one too, saying, "I wanna play! I wanna play!" The ring felt huge in his mouth and he took a turn climbing all the way up to the top of his dad's head so that he could throw the ring with all of his puppy might to try and win something like his parents to take back with him to their sea side den.

From her place within a set of bags draped across her father's back, Juniper gazed around the carnival in awe. Though they hadn't been out of the den and into the world for long, the little starry-eyed girl was already in love with the wonder of the big wide world! She wanted to see everything, go everywhere, do all the things! From the vast roiling sea she saw from her own front door to the brightly colored stalls and tents in this big open valley, she had an insatiable curiosity to see everything and meet all the new wolves. The pup was practically quivering with excitement at all the new sounds, smells, and sights; a bit of sensory overload, to be honest, but in a good way! When their parents began to divert to one of the game stalls, Juniper watched with glee as her father and mother both threw rings around sticks to win prizes, clapping her paws excitedly and cheering for them both.
When Malik declared that he wanted to play, Juniper tried to crawl out of the bag carrying her tiny form, but unable to hoist herself out of her transportation. "Moooom! Daaaaad! I wanna play too!" she cried out, squirming about and making a fuss until Kane hoisted her out to set onto the counter. She was so small, she very nearly could have fit within the ring she was supposed to throw! With all her might (and a good bit of assistance from dad) Juniper helped throw the ring toward the field of sticks.

Something felt strangely familiar about this place, but Sizzle ignored the thoughts and summed them up to just the place looking like somewhere else she'd seen before. As the nearly mature woman wandered around, she could hear strange sights and sounds. Deciding to leave her little companion behind temporarily, Sizzle would set off towards the noise only to find something other than what she expected. The lands weren't marked by any borders, so this wasn't some pack gathering but instead some kind of festival or event. She'd never seen or even heard of a carnival before, but decided to approach cautiously.
The others seemed to be wandering around from booth to booth. Whether they were eating food or playing games, everyone seemed to be doing something. Sizzle fell into the crowd and moved with the others, coming upon an interesting stall with a bunch of bottles and players tossing rings trying to catch on to one of them. A few players would win a prize, so this intrigued her. Once it was her turn, Sizzle would grab a ring and aim before tossing it and hoping to catch on to something and win a prize.

As the tiniest in the litter, Sierra couldn’t get far fast. But she watched with open eyes and awe at the festival moving around them. The wolves and smells and laughter were loud in her little puppy ears. With little sounds of delight, she tumbled out after Juniper and watched her sister throw the ring. Her tail wiggled so fast her butt went with it. “Me next, me next!” she said, and her daddy turned to help her forward.
Holding the ring between them, she grinned up at Kane and then tossed back her head. Her dad timed his own movements well, and the ring she never would have been able to toss alone sailed away from her. “How’d I do, how’d I do??” She asked, already trying to climb up her dad’s leg, until he lifted her up onto his back. She leaned forward, her tiny paws between his ears as she tried to spot her ring.
