~Tentative join thread, depending on how it goes he may or may not join!

He had smelled the pack border long before he set eyes on the glittering beach, but the sight of it had him pausing for a few moments, lower jaw dropped in wonder. It was a beautiful sight in the early afternoon sun, and he allowed himself to take it in before moving closer to the border. Staying a respectful distance away from it, Astrophel looked around with a curious gaze, wondering if Gilgamesh would be nearby to give him a good word with the alpha. He had taken a bit longer than anticipated to make his way down south, and hoped the man wasn't off exploring somewhere. It would be nice to see a friendly face, after all. Astrophel then took a deep breath and tipped his head back, letting out a short howl to respectfully summon the alpha of the pack, though he did not know their name. He wasn't fully set on joining the pack just yet, but after Gilgamesh had offered he couldn't just refuse speaking with the alpha and seeing if he would be a good fit. But in the back of his mind he thought about the wolf he was still searching for, and that would be his number one priority over anything else.

Appearing quite different since the last time he had come across Astrophel, Gil's mind wandered to the midnight-coated man for a moment. Gil wondered if he would really take up the offer of joining the pirates or waste his time looking for a girl whose whereabouts were unknown. Ambling along the beach as he did when Modesty wasn't stuck to his side, he enjoyed the calm sea breeze that ruffled his coat. His fangs were growing in nicely now and he couldn't wait to test them out. Lost in thought as he felt the sand stuck between his toes, his ears perked at the sound of a familiar voice. The howl rang out across the beach over by the pack's border. Turning his head over his shoulder, his piercing yellow eyes sought out the form. Ah, just on the other side, waiting patiently. A grin broke out across his lips as he made his way with quick steps. "Astrophel!" Gil called out in a gruff but friendly tune. "Thought you'd never show up," he commented as he came to sit in front of the wolf. Looking the man up and down first before glancing on either side, he did notice that he hadn't brought anyone with him. So Astro had been unsuccessful in finding his lady friend. Shame.

A howl rung out over the land and Sparrow ignored it for a moment at first since it was for the alpha- then she remembered that she was the alpha and she was supposed to be the one answering those things. Sparrow rose and shook herself off, reminding herself to go bother Tyrian more just because she could probably send pirates to different parts of the border all day and have them call for the alpha meaning he would probably have to answer all of them. Sparrow wondered for a moment how long it would take to go clear across the pack five or six times in a row... While she was thinking, she made her way tot he scene seeing Gil and another wolf conversing as though they'd met before. "Well, apparently you're popular with the men and women, huh?" She gave the dark colored male a once over. "You just here for a visit? Beach is free game- we don't bother marking the borders. Or did you need something specific?" She waited a beat before manners hit her on the side of the head like a brick, "Oh, I'm Sparrow, by the way," she said. "King of the Pirates, she tagged on as an afterthought- the ever born leader she was.
