Kore prances happily alongside Kalyke, the galaxy clad boy’s body jittering with barely contained excitement. As they enter the ring that had been indicated for them, the nebula hued pup lopes the remaining few steps to the starting area. Tail wags happily at he looks across at the opposing team, giving the pup and large wolf a huge smile and play bow. Straightening up, Kore then sets his defenses, remembering to tuck his wiggling tail to keep from it receiving unwanted bites.

With the speed of youth, the galaxy cloaked pup lunches forward, small legs devouring the short distance between him and the pair. Heading toward the older wolf, the purple boy aims to veer toward to the wolf’s right side as his sharp puppy teeth try to bite toward the wolf’s front leg. If the bite lands, Kore will give a quick pinch before releasing and attempting to run behind the pair.

"Kore Regni"

Kore’s brother pranced in along with his brother, bright-eyed from all the festival fun and excitement at the prospect of winning a tournament.  “So, Kore,” Kal began wondering about a strategy but the strategy appeared to be just launch an attack.  His brother went after the adult so what should Kal do?  They didn’t have any training of two on two so far!  Kore was fighting the big one so should Kal be fighting the other pup or did Kore need help against the large adult?

Kal didn’t have time to think so just charged the pup.  Kal’s experience was limited so he went for a wild charge dash at his opponent.  He’d slam his chest into Acacius’ chest if he was able to, attempting to bite to the side of the pup’s neck with a snarl as vicious as the pup could manage.

Of course, it was his luck that he'd get paired up with kids. He hated kids. Never liked them very much, but maybe he could just try to get this over with and not have to deal with them later. He was none too pleased when he showed up to the ring and watched as these two...puppies...seemed to have all the energy puppies normally had, but he wasn't keen on fighting them. No matter. If he hurt them, oh well, right? What did they expect joining a fighting tournament? Wrinkling his nose as one charged at him, Gadreel growled and lashed his tail. As the kid aimed to bite at his front leg, Gadreel opted to lunge forward, jaws open as he aimed to grab the boys scruff and lift him off his feet. He wasn't gonna be gentle about it, either! Acacius knew he was out of his element, pacing nervously beside his assigned partner as the pairings matched up and were sent off to their respective fights. His partner was much older then he was and much larger, but it seemed the opposing team had a similar disadvantage so hopefully Acacius would not drag the man down too far.

He had been caught up considering strategy when the fight broke out, leaping back in startled panic as his partner and the other adult clashed. He barely had time to turn his head before the other pup was barreling down upon him. Kal's chest slammed into Acacius' own and he gasped as the wind was knocked from his lungs. Mirroring the other boy's movements he dipped his head inward, aiming to grasp the other pup's cheek before his fangs could land upon the flesh of Acacius' neck.

Kore rushes toward the adult wolf, small mouth opening wide as he aimed to nip the man’s leg. Suddenly, pain flares along his scruff as the older wolf grips his scruff and yanks the galaxy clad pup off the ground. A pained yelp escapes his lips as the boy is pulled roughly into the air and Kore goes into survival mode. Mind reels as he tries to understand how a friendly spar turned into this. Small paws strike out blindly, trying to hit something, anything that would force the mean adult to release him. Angry snarls and loud puppy barks fill the air as he wiggles and snaps at anything. If the male releases his scruff, Kore will charge at his leg again, aiming to bite his ankle, hard this time. He was very mean!

"Kore Regni"

Kal got him!  He slammed into the pup but then the tables were turned on huge giant fangs, at least in his mind, chomped at his own neck.  Kal dug in his back feet and tried to plow forward, attempting to get all his weight in the other pup’s chest to see if he could knock the long-fanged pup down.  Hopefully, Gadreel would let go if he fell over!  Hopefully, Kal could pin the pup if he got him over!  

Kalyke still had a lot to learn on fighting but he was a bullheaded pup with something to prove!  If it meant getting a small injury for the sake of victory he could manage it.  The boy didn't dare look away from his enemy to see how Kore was doing but he couldn't let Kore win against the big adult and Kal lose to a pup.

He had succeeded in lifting Kore off the ground and a snarl of satisfaction bubbled in his throat. The pup flailed in his jaws, practically kicking and screaming as he looked for a way out. The brown male decided to toss him away, turning his head and releasing the kid as he aimed to get the child away from him, but not before Kore's teeth managed to land a light scratch on his cheek from his flailing. Even after that, the kid still dared to come charging at him and Gadreel bared his fangs as he too, charged at the boy. Though at the last moment, he jumped neatly over the kid and kicked out a hind leg, aiming to connect his foot with the kid and send him face first into the dirt!
