The noonday sun hangs high in the sky, stifling the air with an oppressive heat. This has caused most of the girl’s family to retreat back into their den and she casts a glance toward the dark opening that leads to their den. While the cool, dark palace tunnels call to Seere, the small, monochrome pup opts to stay outside. Turning her face forward, panting heavily, the gray pup practices the stances her dad had showed her, trying to remember exactly how he placed his paws and adjusted his weight.

Standing on the sandy beach, the sea lapping at the shore behind her, Seere plants her paws and sets her defenses. Once she is satisfied, the pup starts to shift to the form, legs move, weight changes and… small legs tangle around themselves pitching the monochrome pup forward. With an, “Oof” she lands face first on the sand and heaves a frustrated sigh. Dad makes it look so easy, his tall frame flowing from one stance into the next like the water that crashes behind her.

As Seere works to untangle her legs, she thinks of the way Plague fights. His towering height had been imposing but the real threat had laid in his toned muscles. She remembers the way he effortlessly moved away from his sparring partner, a sense of power following him as he moved. Seere had decided, right there, that she wanted to be fighter just like her dad. Regaining her footing, the gray pup plants her paws just like she had seen her dad do. With determination on her face, the gray pup sets about practicing as the afternoon drags on.


"Seere Abraxas-Destruction"

The solitary girl walked through the islands that Ashen owned. Eyes of blue rested through the ocean as she allowed herself ti walk by the breaking waves. Tail down, a bored and emotionless expressions reflecting in those eyes. The heat embraced every fiber in her body, burning, like a not do welcomed sensation. But she knew her duties couldn't wait nor would be using the weather as poor excuse. She went there panting heavily from the warmth.

There is when she spotted a pup, stumbling face first into the sand. An eye brow rised in disbelief. "Huh." She muttered as she approached her cousin yet to meet. "You would have been killed by now. But i could teach you a thing or two."

"the talk"

Seere starts as voice pulls her from her musings. Wide, mismatched eyes turn toward the source and find, a large gray wolf looking down at her. Oops. She got caught. A sheepish smile appears as the pup ducks her head in embarrassment as she mumbles, “Oh, hello.” Small paws shuffle in sand as she looks at the larger wolf. When the beautiful woman offers to teach the monochrome pup, the small girl lifts her head to flash the gray wolf a dazzling smile. Seere happily chirps, “Yes please! See, I want to be a great fighter! Just like my dad, Plague!” Small paws scramble to turn the pup toward her teacher, eager to begin the lesson. With her tail wagging lazily behind her, the pup introduces herself, “My name’s Seere!”
