She wasn't like the vast majority of her family, no this girl was small in stature and her heart was often times far too large for its own good. The dainty foxlike canine made her way across the northern side of Boreas. Vegetation was slowly coming back to life and sprouting all across the land in forms of plants and shrubbery. Inès was pleased to see the change in the weather, she preferred the warmer weather then the bite of winter. But there was still much for her to learn; if she wasn't spending time doting on her family members, she was off exploring which is exactly what she was doing today. Tiny paws carried her towards the mile-high woods, a place that she had only heard tales about. But once she got closer the name spoke for itself. The trees were far taller than any she had ever seen, reaching higher and higher. Inès moved towards the nearest trunk to her right, taking her time as she began to scale upward. It wasn't too difficult with her smaller size as she began to climb, using her claws to dig into the grooves of the tree as she moved further from the ground. Thankfully she wasn't afraid of heights, maybe she had been a bird in a past life? Pausing for only a moment her emerald gaze would cast outward as she glanced around her, enjoying the soft warm breeze on her face all the while.

She had idly followed the scent trail left behind by Inès, slowly meandering through the large trees with no real intent on catching up to the woman for any particular reason. There had been a thought to hunt some prey, but on this day she was feeling a little lazy, so perhaps keeping an eye on one of her younger cousins would be a better idea. She was sure Sanngriðr would appreciate it.

At some point she lost the trail, and with a frown Iðunn backed up a few steps, sniffing intently at the air. As her head tipped back she spotted the familiar orange tones of the woman high up in the tree. Not feeling in the mood to climb up so high, she instead heaved herself up on the lower bough of the tree and curled up there, glancing upwards briefly at Inès before settling her head down on her forepaws to look out among the undergrowth closer to the forest floor. Maybe a nap was in order, if her cousin was willing to stay up in the tree for long enough.
