Relm had been coming back from a hunt outside of the pack lands carrying her kill on her trek around the lake's edge. She moved towards the stores so she could prepare and store the meat she carried. Only when she grew closer to the cave systems they had she was struggling to make out what she was looking at. Her steps became uneasy as she moved forward, squinting at a giant fuzzy splotch she saw in front of the store's entrance. Only when she grew closer did she realize that it was a bear shuffling through their food. She had immediately dropped her kill before sprinting forward to stop it. It must have somehow been lingering around in the caves from the move, or maybe somehow snuck in through the land bridge during the day. It was certainly an odd occurrence. Relm hadn't been geared in her fighting armor but was dressed in her cloak which was a regular. She went and shoved herself between the stone of the cave opening and the grizzly bear. It didn't seem bothered by her until then.

"Relm"

Avacyn walked out of the caves she shared with her family, moving down along the paths along the mountain side to go down to the lake. She was at a point in most of her projects that she couldn't do much else without more supplies so she thought she might as well go get cleaned up a bit before dinner. On her way past some of the other caves though, she heard a commotion from up ahead and her ears perked before she hurried forward to go see what was going on. She skidded to a stop in front of the cave where they stored most of their supplies and found Relm there along with a bear, the large predator growling and roaring the wolf that was trying to hinder its dinner plans. Avacyn frowned and darted in to help, keeping just outside of the bear's field of view so that she could slip around behind it. She swiped her claws along its thigh before jumping back to avoid any attacks it might try to give in retaliation. Sure enough, the bear roared in pain and irritation as it turned to face her, the predator glancing between the two wolves warily.

"Avacyn Mendacium"

Relm was able to wedge herself between the bear and the cave, coming out on the other side and biting at it's paws and it started to back up out of their stores in response. By they time it was moving, Avacyn was on the other side provoking it and had it's attention.

Relm was still mostly behind the grizzly, only taking a few seconds to think of the next action. It was too far into the pack lands, they were going to have to kill it. She didn't doubt Avacyn's skills at all, she came from a strong family.

Relm darted around to the front of the bear quickly, thrusting herself forward and head butting it right in the stomach with all her strength. She knocked the bear backwards to get it stuck at an odd angle back into the stores it had rummaged around in. Once it was secure in there, they could finish it off.

"Relm"

Avacyn kept on the defensive while Relm lunged toward the bear, head butting the predator and forcing it into a corner where it couldn't get away. Now cornered and trapped, the large bear seemed to get more worried and panicked than it had been before, lashing out more viciously in an attempt to save itself. Avacyn dodged a heavy paw as it swung out at her, having to jump back out of the way until it swung past her harmlessly. Before the bear could pull the paw back entirely she jumped forward, catching its ankle between her jaws and crunching down hard around the limb. That earned her another roar from their opponent and it yanked its foreleg away from her which just ended up causing more damage to the bear's leg in the process. As she let it go and stepped back again she noticed that it wasn't really able to put its full weight on that paw any more which limited its movements and attacks quite a bit. She Gave Relm a quick glance, already picking up on the fact that they weren't going to just let this bear run away. She kept a close eye on the shaggy predator, making sure to quickly block its path whenever it tried to slip past them.

"Avacyn Mendacium"

With the bear now injured from the bite Avacyn inflicted on it's paw, it was starting to second guess it's choices and trying to find the best way to escape. But what would stop the bear from coming back? Or sending it's family here? They may have been doing it a justice too with a crippling paw. Relm didn't really linger on it. She didn't care.

With it backed up in the storage area, Relm jumped up onto it's back using the stone walls as leverage. She grabbed a large portion of it's ear and head, dragging it's head up with all her might while holding on to it around the shoulders. Avacyn was free to finish the bear off now, but if she didn't Relm would step in with a kill at the throat.

"Relm"

Avacyn waited eagerly for another opening while she watched Relm jump into action once more, the other woman jumping up onto the bear's back to get it's shoulders and head secured. That gave her all the opportunity she needed to reach for the bear's throat and bite down hard around its windpipe, crushing and tearing with a quick, hard bite. She gave a few hard shakes of her head to make sure that there was plenty of damage done and she pulled forward to start the inevitable toppling of the beast. As soon as she felt it begin to give way she let go and got out of the way. The bear staggered a bit and then fell hard into the cave floor in a gurgling struggle for air until it finally fell still. Avacyn gave herself a quick shake and licked the blood from her lips before she looked to Relm with a small grin to make sure her pack mate was alright and unharmed.
