There were a lot of wolves here. But she was more interested in getting her kids out and about instead of sitting around at home. Training among the family was one thing, but putting things into practice against strangers was a whole other ball game. She knew her son had opted to participate in the fighting tournament, and after he had gotten paired up, she had been paired with someone else she didn't know. Though she wished she could observe his spar, she knew she wouldn't always be able to hover over him. Out of her three kids, she knew he'd have more success in life than the other two...at least, in this sort of field. She didn't doubt her children's abilities to live a full life, regardless of their disabilities.
Offering a nod to her opponent, she turned her attention to the two Valhallan wolves before them. Both were larger than her, though they were also both young. Still, knowing Valhalla, this younger pair likely weren't going without instruction. Taking a deep breath, she set her sights on the black, ember-clad male and went at him. Her paws ate the ground as she sought to close the distance between them, and as she neared, she darted towards his left in an effort to sweep past him and get at his back leg. Her jaws opened as she aimed a bite at his hip while her forepaw swept out in an attempt to trip up his back leg.
