**Takes place before Fall, Year 17 seasonal**

Duel-toned eyes stare down from her perch on the top of the cliffs. No way is she going down there ever again. Casting the place a glare, Tove huffs her disapproval at the land before turning around to stalk back to the band’s camp. A roar greets her ears and shouts, “OH COME ON!” A grizzly bear rushes toward her and she swiftly rolls away, while also rolling her eyes. Turning to face the bear, she says, “Look buddy, I’m in no mood.” The grizzly charges and Tove releases an angry call for help. Stupid predators and their stupid, stupidness. She growls as she dodges out of the way and rushes in to bite the bear’s back left leg. She is going to teach him a lesson.

"Tove Baade"

Well, this time Kichi wasn’t as close. He was thankfully not so far he didn’t hear Tove’s call. Kichi howls his own voice, a heads up to stall. It wasn’t like this was smooth ground all over. Kichi had to find a good path to get to Tove. Dang wolf, couldn’t he find the predators all in the same space?

Little Torch seemed to do really well even when the terrain was rockier, clearly having some mountain goat in his little water deer veins. It meant going back around the canyon and up to where she was so it really did mean she had dto keep the lion busy.

Kichi did make it eventually and he ran straight towards the bear, with long strides he leaped onto the bear’s bac, biting in between the wide area of the back between the shoulder blades. The bear threw him but Kichi took some of the bear’s skin with it, a chunk of flesh missing on the animal's back. Take that ya brown rug!

"Kichi"

The grizzly is mad and so is Tove! Sure, the gray wolf usually appears to save her but this time… well, if he is going to save her, he is cutting it close. She grabs hold of the bear’s leg just as a gray flash lands between the beast’s shoulder blades. With it distracted, she rips apart the tendon in its leg, rendering the bear lame. Tove is racing away when she sees her fighting companion go flying and she spins around to growl at the bear. That was rude! Rushing back in, she goes for the thing’s throat, jumping up to latch on. The bear roars as she holds on. Her front paws press into the creature’s chest as she thrashes her head, working to do as much damage to its neck as she can.

"Tove Baade"

Kichi gets back up from the ground to look at the status of things and see’s Tove go for the bear’s throat. That worked for Kichi! As the bear would attempt to get the colorful wolf off his neck Kichi runs back and leaps back up on the bear. Sinking his teeth where they had just been Kichi is able to do a great deal of damage now that the protective fur and flesh are out of the way.

Apparently, the bear didn’t care for the position he was in. His form moving to stand whether or not that would mean Tove would be going up with him. Kichi was back on the ground, blood soaking his muzzle and chest. The blood felt wonderful against him. As the bear went up Kichi ran to grab a leg, shaking his head back and forth attempting to make it harder for the giant animal to balance.

This thing was dead, it was just a matter of the bear realizing it and giving up.

"Kichi"

Tove thrashes her head, intent on inflicting as much damage as possible to the bear. No way is she going to allow it to hurt her fighting companion and live! The gray wolf isn’t down for long, in fact he is already leaping back up onto the grizzly to finish what he started. Confused, hurting, and angry, the bear plants its back legs and moves to stand in an attempt to dislodge the troublesome duo. Tove releases her hold on its neck and backs away, duel-toned eyes moving to check on the gray male and finding him, once more, on the ground.

A smile curls her lips, as her fighting companion rushes back in to bite a leg. Paws pull her forward as he knocks the mighty grizzly off balance and the galaxy-cloaked woman dashes in. As it teeters, Tove runs full force into the opposite leg, level with its knee. It roars in pain as the tendon snaps and the beast falls back to the earth with a mighty thud. Shooting the gray wolf a grin, she moves to pin its shoulders and allow the wolf time to kill the creature.


"Tove Baade"

The colorful wolf slams into the bar and it falls down.  The fight is as good as done with the bear down.  Kichi rushes in to bite into the neck.  Kichi isn’t bothering with digging in trying for one damaging dealing and gripping bite.  He’s snapping flesh, biting through, letting go, and biting deeper the next time.  Another bite to widen the whole he’s making.  The left side of the bear’s neck is eventually completely torn open on one side.

The bear isn’t dead but, it's beyond fighting back.  Its eyes are pain-filled, its breaths ragged fast things.  Kichi waltzes around it and then start ripping open the other side of the neck.  It was only a few bites in when the head seems to shrink into the ground a bit more and the eyes glazed over.

It felt like the predators were getting weaker all the time.  Kichi licked away a bit of blood considering the downed bear.  Maybe Kichi was just getting stronger.
