**Takes place before Fall, Year 17 seasonal**

Seriously, does she have some kind of bait around her neck that attracts predators? Tove growls in annoyance as she looks at the large tiger, the feline and wolf facing off over a dead deer. She had killed the deer and was dragging it back to camp when this kitty decided it want to steal her hard-earned kill. Fur bristles as she growls and snaps at the air, trying to shoo the curious feline away. By the looks of it, this cat hasn’t been able to find a good meal for some time. Still, this was her deer and she wasn’t about to let some cat take it. Letting out a request for help, Tove charges toward the tiger and snaps her teeth at its face. The cat backs off a few paces before starting to move back to the kill. Inwardly, she groans as Tove realizes she is going to have to chase it off.

"Tove Baade"

Kichi had smelled the dead deer as surely as the feline had and had already been on his way towards it. Along the way, he’d heard Tove’s call for help and he was already almost there. Kichi ran towards the pair with Torch holding back again. The deer seemed more worried about cats than he was about bears.

Kichi runs up from behind, leaping up with his front legs landing on the cat’s back, causing it to momentarily have to catch it’s balance if Tove wants to use that pause. Kichi bites into the cat’s back but doesn’t get to do much damage with the animal spinning about, claws raking against Kichi’s side as he jumps back away. Kichi snarls at the cat, the feel of blood on him offering a rush of adrenaline that felt wonderful.

Pain proved you were alive and flooded his own desire to cause pain. Kichi didn’t wait but rushed in, facing the tiger head-on. Tiger and cat collide in front, Kichi through skull or luck gets the bite on the tiger’s muzzle, their paws pushing against each other. Unfortunately, the cat’s claws were sharper than Kichi’s and when he felt claws against his shoulder Kichi had to grudgingly jump away. He didn’t mind the pain but he did want to win the battle. Besides, the tiger wasn’t going to enjoy opening its mouth anymore, blood flowed deeply above the and slashed down to the bottom of its upper lip where a jagged tear would permanently reveal one of its teeth for now on. Take that.
Both were damaged, and both wanted to do more damage.

"Kichi"

Tove sees the familiar gray form appear, the young male leaping up onto the cat’s back and knocking it off balance. She rushes in, the momentary pause is all she needs to grab hold of one of its front paws. Delivering a sharp bite, the woman retreats and turns to see the feline leaving gashes on her fighting companion. No! The wolf doesn’t seem to mind, in fact, he seems to be enjoying the thrill of it. He rushes in toward the cat’s face, latching onto its muzzle and Tove sees an opening. Racing in, Tove grabs one of the back legs and delivers a forceful bite. The cat turns to try and swipe at her but she dances away, hoping it is enough of an opening for the other wolf.

"Tove Baade"

The other wolf attacks when Kichi had to back off. Kichi took a moment to shake himself, a bit of blood landing on the ground. Was it his or the tigers? Did it even matter? Not really. Kichi ran in as the other wolf attacked, slamming himself into the tiger’s front shoulder even as Tove was biting a back leg to knock the cat off balance. As they collided Kichi’s fangs found their way into the tiger’s neck.

The tiger was surely more muscular than Kichi but it was also more injured and had a damaged leg. Kichi used his grip on the cat’s neck and shoved farther into the shoulder as he tried to push the cat down. Unfortunately, the claws were coming toward him again and Kichi was forced to let go. Spinning his head he bit into the tiger’s paw in repayment as it tried to harm him again. There were limits to how many times the tiger got to cut him open.

"Kichi"

Tove bites into the tiger’s leg, growling at the fact that it drew blood from her gray friend. He is back, biting the feline’s neck and shoving into it. She takes the hint and pulls at the leg she has been biting on. It is swiping at the gray wolf again and Tove growls loudly while jerking the leg off the ground. With a yowl of dismay, the tiger losses it footing and crashes onto its side. Without a word to her fighting companion, the galaxy-cloaked woman pins the front to the ground and looks to injured male. A small dip of her head is all she gives but with it, she acknowledges his pain and anger. She silently agrees to pin the tiger down while he does whatever he needs to the feline to extract his revenge.

"Tove Baade"

Kichi felt good, he felt alive with all the blood being shed. How much of it was his versus how much the tigers didn’t matter. The tiger was clearly going to die, it had always been known by Kichi and surely the tiger was starting to realize that as well.

Tove managed to help off balance the tiger and the animal fell to the ground. Kichi leaped over the tiger’s downed body, spinning about to bite onto its skull, paws pressing against the cat’s neck for purchase, puling the skin away from the skull. With the skull exposed Kichi bit into it, face wrinkling up with pressure. The skull was thick. Kichi let go then jerked his head down to bite the same spot. With a bit of effort, he didn’t fully bite through but he did crack the skull. The tiger roared in pain.

Kichi loved the idea of biting through the skull to kill it but what he envisioned wasn’t going to work as well as he wanted so instead his teeth sunk into the tiger’s neck. Several bites and rips later the tiger’s lifeblood poured from its neck.
