It had come as a surprise to Kuroo that Sedna and Raijin were approving of his trip up north into Boreas with Tachi. While he would have loved to take the whole group of them, it wasn't smart the first time around. Thankfully, since Tachi was one of the bigger pups, Kuroo felt confident that he wouldn't let the youngster get hurt or die on their escapade. Even as the summer sun beat down on their backs, they were making good time from the south of Auster and up toward the Bifrost. The closer they got to the grove, Kuroo noticed the temperature dropping slowly. By the time they reached the land bridge separately the two continents, there was a chill in the air.

He knew it was winter up in Boreas, had been there recently, but hadn't realized just how bad the snow had gotten. As they reached the other side and approached the Fjord's river, Kuroo's mouth dropped open in a bit of surprise. So much for their fishing trip, there would be no open water sources if this far south was already frozen over. With a furrowed brow, he decided they would still have some fun. Glancing over to the growing pup, Kuroo smiled in a friendly manner before pouncing forward into a drift of snow that had piled up along the banks.

When his head popped out from beneath, he waited for Tachi to join in on the fun. "We could build a snow-wolf if you're interested," speaking in their native tongue so Tachi could also get more practice. As well, he smiled wide like all big brothers were supposed to do. Knowing this was the first time Tachi would see snow, he would give the boy a few minutes to inspect and play with it first before he taught him the art of sculpting such delicate and beautiful frozen water.

It was hot, far too hot for Tachi's liking. He felt like he spent all day panting, tongue lolling out the side of his mouth in a never ending attempt to keep cool. So when he heard that the family would be heading north to visit one of Mum's old friends he'd leapt on the chance to tag along, nubby tail wagging at the thought of seeing more of the world. Travelling in the sun was no fun at all, but once they moved over the land bridge things started to get cold...far more than he was used to. Almost as bad as the blistering sun.

Better yet the land up here was coated in white, not nearly as soft or as fluffy as it looked. He stomped along, smushing it down flat as he marvelled at the sight before him. Snow wasn't something he'd ever seen in Auster, maybe never would. Looking over at Kuroo, his brows furrowed at the words that slipped past his lips. Admittedly, Tenshi wasn't the best at his second language but it was passable. Enough to prove he wasn't stupid but he wasn't going to be waxing poetics anytime soon. Not that anyone really spoke like that in Tojo, quick and to the point. Made things easier to grasp.

Snow...wolf? So that's what this stuff was called, hm. Thinking on it for a moment, Tachi was quick to nod, a grin forming on his features at the thought of trying something new.

"Yes." He decided, nubby tail wagging once more. How best to make a wolf out of all of this snow? Make a head then build down, maybe? Batting at the snow with his paws, he started to roll out a ball, growing it larger and larger with each push. "You start the tail. Long and thin."
