Azure's paws were tied, not just by the softness of his mate who did not share his biases, but by his father whose word dwarfed the Champion's own. While he might have been content to simply ignore the existence of his daughters entirely, there was a certain ethical code that recommended fathers treat their children equally, or something. He had offered Levi and Basilisk the opportunity to grow and advance within the Armada, a privilege they had earned. Makara and Morgawr had not yet shown that initiative and potential, though Azure knew he would be perceived poorly should he not at least take stock of where they were and where they hoped to one day see themselves.
Tipping his head back, he summoned his daughters with a clipped and commanding howl. Opportunities to impress their expectant father were only dwindling as they aged. If they wished to earn his respect and favor, this was their chance to prove themselves worthy of the Fatalis name.
Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.

Settling in to this new land left PLENTY to still be explored. Makara found her days completely eaten up by wandering through the territory, scoping out the very best places to set traps and investigate further. None of her traps had caught anything interesting... YET! But that didn't mean it wasn't worth doing. Mak was fully absorbed with checking out of her trenches disguised beneath a thatch of greenery. She was just sticking out a tentative paw to clear the greenery away when she heard her father's call. BUT I WANT TO SEE WHAT I'VE GOOOT! She groaned internally, paw raised midair, but retracted it when she thought better of it.
He probably had something important to say. After all, he didn't pay much attention to them unless it was Serious Business. Mother was much easier to talk to. Makara had found herself maybe even (possibly, just a little bit) avoiding her father even more after they had moved. It was easier to get lost in the hustle and bustle when everyone had more urgent tasks to attend to than wrangling her. Meekly, she turned away from her trap and scampered towards Azure's stern call.
Makara skidded to a stop in front of her father, ribcage blowing hard. At least he would see how fast she came! The young girl adjusted her goggles, popping them up above her eyes. Snow was near-constant here and they had come in handy when the sun glittered brightly across the drifts, but he probably wouldn't like it if she addressed him with them on. "MAKARA REPORTING FOR DUTY!"
