Getting a feel for 'home'

I have a heart I swear I do
But just not baby when it comes to you
I eat boys up, breakfast and lunch
Then when I'm thirsty, I drink their blood
Carnivore animal, I am a Cannibal
But just not baby when it comes to you
I eat boys up, breakfast and lunch
Then when I'm thirsty, I drink their blood
Carnivore animal, I am a Cannibal
Walk "Talk!" Think
This place was new with the fresh blanket of snow it merely added to the winter beauty of the place, surely in the warmer months the beauty proved to be far more then what it was now. Those ashen paws lead her through the sparse pines that nose twitching here and there as she took in the new scents of her home. Home; what a odd word after so long. Having served under a much different ivory King unlike this one had - he had been far more harsh and unforgiving ruling with that iron fist of his. Killian no doubt would of liked this place though it was clear that he had been a mountain type of wolf; these spare pines and openish plains wouldn't of been to his liking. But these lands out side of these lands he would of no doubt claimed a place for him self and his pack that was if he could raise one here.
Pushing those thoughts aside the ashen fiend padded through the sparse pines, it looked different then on the day she had arrived. More dead then alive likely due to the trees losing all of the leaves and seemingly taking on more of a dull coloring without the leaves that decorated each tree in the coming spring. Yet equally so she knew this was a time to remain here in the pack lands; the fea had felt that aching in that abdomen while that noxious perfume of hers had gone unnoticed to that nose of hers. It was beacon to the males around her. It wouldn't surprise her if she attracted attention fairly soon and perhaps more then one suitor that was if the albino King allowed such acts. It was doubtful yet she worried little.
Pausing at what it seemed to be a frozen stream that head lowered as she spotted a fish frozen in time. Deception had little idea if the creature could survive being frozen yet it seemed unlikely; stepping over the small stream Deception went searching ideally for a den to call her own since this would be her new home alien as it was but at the same time quite the splendid change in scenery from the rocky mountain she had once upon a time lived on. Huffing slightly as she drew closer to what it seemed a denning site many different scents came to that sensitive nose of hers; it would seem at least that the pack was many and strong. Growing evening for some of the scents were newer unlike some that lingered here and there. Carefully Deception picked her way forward, perhaps there was an empty den some where...
Occ; Don't ask where this muse came from, cause I don't even know xD.
