Sparrow and definitely not Hanako are having a litter August 6th! So I have 2 free slots and will PROBABLY use one of them. Everything else is up for grabs.

Sparrow is dire height with browns and slates with black or white not being uncommon. Blue eyes run in her family. She also has mutations and the like so feel free to take your discounts where applicable.

Not-Hanako has oranges and blacks and koi markings with icy eyes.

I would prefer the pups appearance take well from Hanako's side, but height, build, mutations, etc. are totally open!

Character Name: Kaiyō (Japanese for ocean) "Jackdaw"
Alignment: lawful neutral or chaotic good or chaotic neutral
Appearance: this one!
Personality: Adventure-seeking is probably the first thing this kid is all about. Like his pirate mother, Jackdaw is drawn to adventure and enjoying life. He does not hesitate to test boundaries be they physical or otherwise. Rules? Sure. He'll follow. But probably not without a little complaint if he feels they're too restrictive. Borders? What are those? He doesn't know them! Then again, as a professional saboteur, thief, and spy, borders hardly mean a thing to him. If he gets caught at any time, he's not opposed to fighting his way out or telling elaborate stories that might be convincing enough.

Surprisingly, Jackdaw isn't entirely social. Yeah, he'll mingle at parties and all that good stuff, but at the end of it all, he can't wait to get back to his den and just kick back with a bottle of jack. He likes his alone time as much as he likes spending time with the rest of the gang, and he doesn't take either one for granted. He's by no means a recluse or a hermit, no. He can only really be alone for a few hours before he feels the need for some sort of interactions. He just needs some downtime here and there to recharge before he gets back into the thick of things.

Loyal to the pirates, Jackdaw aspires to be the next pirate king, or perhaps close enough to it depending on how life treats him and where it takes him. He is ambitious in the sense that he wants to do his best for his mother (and the Imperialis line in general), especially after hearing about all of the family feats. He's not one to put his family name in jeopardy nor sully it if he can help it.

Jackdaw is by no means an all-brawn, no-brain type. He's cunning and calculated with his comebacks and words, swift as a bird and strong as a bull (or speedy like a rabbit depending on if he ends up big or small). Not only is he quick with his tongue, but Jackdaw learns early on how to blend into the shadows for his own benefit, or for the benefit of his pack. Slipping into pack lands to steal what he wants and back out often before he's noticed. He's also learned to hide his identity, often introducing himself to others under another name and guise to better throw off his trail from would-be trackers and those seeking retribution for his thieving antics. He's quite capable of mimicking different voices and the habits of others, using different scented oils and the like to throw off his trail.

All that aside, Jackdaw can, at times, be stupidly brave. Or maybe just plain overeager and cocky. He's likely known to bite off more than he can chew, but no matter what challenges come his way, he's willing to take them on (or back off) depending on what the situation calls for.

Quite the charmer, Jackdaw's silvery-smooth tongue knows just what to say to charm the ladies (or men) and it's likely that in his adult years, he'll take on the form of Lust or Gluttony. He wants all the pretty little creatures, and probably isn't above collecting a little harem of his own someday.

Scrappy, proud, and loud. Takes after Pirate-Ma more than Not-Ma. Doesn't seem to have a filter, will swear like a sailor regardless of who she's talking to. Talks almost nonstop. Delighted to learn new things and experience the world. Impatiently waits for the day she's able to go beyond the borders - without adult supervision! Mari revels in recreational things - drugs, alcohol... She doesn't give a shit. Probably a bit drunk all the time, let's be real (when mature enough!) A tinkerer at the core, who likes to create and destroy in equal measure. Will work toward becoming the Plunder's Blacksmith.

Mad scientist vibes. Doesn't care about the end result as much as the journey. Gets bored easily and voices it. Will probably stab others in the back that aren't family or if they insult family. Heck, she'd probably just stab you. Likes to experiment and work with her paws. Probably demi-ace; romance is booooring! Sappy! Gross! Don't smooch her; she'll punch you! Character Name: Chinatsu

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Appearance: Chinatsu is impressive in height just like her mother, Sparrow. In the dire wolf category, Chi will stand at forty-five inches tall at her full height. She will bear a medium build overall and a broader chest that will give her a wider look from the front. She will also have a naturally fluffy neck which also adds to this appearance of seeming wider. She will keep her fur somewhat tame but for the most part, it will sit how it sits; no need to focus on looking the part of some little princess.

Chi's eyes are expressive and rounded, betraying her true emotions, and pale silver color. Her nose and paw pads on the other hand are liver-colored while her claws are off-white. Her ears are a bit wider than average and make her a little more noise sensitive than most. The most distinguished feature bout the girl, however, is her seemingly docked tail. Born with a naturally stubby tail it will only be around a third of the size it should be.

Chinatsu has a base coat of white. The lake coat will appear lightly stained at birth with warm colors that, as she ages, will become more vibrant in hue until she is stained with yellow and oranges. Her face and chest hold the most "pure" part of her fur and have the least amount of her koi-like markings. Despite her warm appearance color wise she does not often bear a smile reflecting that fact and instead favors a cocky, confident grin or thoughtful look.

Personality:

Possessive, selfish, and rather greedy. Chinatsu will display from a very young age that sharing is not her strong suit. From food to neat stones to her favorite spots inside and outside of her den Chi will be very insistent on what is hers. This will be a trait that the koi-marked girl will carry with her into adulthood. While she may care for her family and fellow pirates her heart truly belongs to one thing; her treasures. She will hoard various objects that strike her fancy with great pleasure. Nothing can win her over like the objects of her desires.

That said, Chinatsu's greed can be a curse. An endless desire to expand her treasure trove can lead to risky decisions and, while she may think out some plans, sometimes the best thing for her to do is leap right in. This inspires her to do the greatest of pirate things; raid. In battle, she will remain calm, confident, and cocky. You have something she wants? She will take it by force if she must and you will be but a casualty. She enjoys the thrill of battle so fighting is just an added bonus if she gets her share of the booty.

Chi is one to grump about her losses but she will also look at those situations as an opportunity to grow and learn from her mistakes and come back stronger. Learn, grow, plunder be a moto for the girl to live by... And so as long as no one comes between her and what she wants they'll be golden.

As far as rules and society go Chibatsu values order... But only among pirate society. The King of Pirates' word is the law and if they say for any reason not to like or plunder an individual or pack she will follow that without question. She values strength and those who will work for what they want. To those outside of the band, Chi may seem like a bully and an asshole but to Chi? She's just another pirate.

He tries, really he does, but Sakana is easily overshadowed by the larger than life personalities of his other siblings. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his own dumb ideas, he just doesn’t really have the build to bully his way to the top, so from an early age he learns to go with the flow and back up the chaotic plans of the other pirate puppies. He is a team player, but distractible and not exactly reliable with anything that requires too much attention. But his heart is in the right place, and he’ll always be the first to take the blame if it looks like one of his siblings might have gotten themselves into more trouble than they can handle on their own. He might be a good listener, or maybe he’s just daydreaming while others talk at him? The advice he offers is rarely sound, but hey, at least he gives everything a go.

Character Name: Calico Jack (I can go with just Calico if needed but I like that Calico Jack was a famous pirate)

Calico Jack is not lacking the looks department.

His base coat is the white of freshly fallen snow; setting up the perfect canvas for any painter. Colors swirl across his coat, the ruddy orange of late autumn pumpkins, the rich orange-brown of the most exotic spices, and the deep, vibrant brown of wet earth.

While they paint his coat, in strange, almost random ways, there are a few places that stand out. The most notably of these spots of color are; on his muzzle, where the earthy brown paints his lips. Under his eyes, where the light spice shade gives way to the autumnal orange. His eyebrows, painted the deep earthen hue and the back of both of his ears, where the color of spice darkens both of them.

A patchwork, a hodgepodge of seemingly random color combinations that, somehow, all add up to one handsome wolf.

One last thing to note is Calico Jack’s eyes. They are the icy blue of a cold winter morning.

Calico Jack will come out of the womb wanting to fight and explore everything he can. From the moment he squeals with his first breath, adventure will always call to him. Most of his life will be spent chasing after that siren’s call and he will not regret one moment of it.

As for fighting; since raiding courses through his vein, Calico will be bound and determined to work hard and join his mother in raids as soon as he can.  He will obsess about fighting and obsess about what exciting fight comes next, often focusing on the next raid and the one that comes after that.

Family will be everything to Calico Jack and he will hurt anyone that tries to mess with them. Pirates are supposed to ruffle feathers and he will mock those who speaks out against his family’s lifestyle. He will look down on them as a boorish, uncultured lot and won’t deem them worthy of his best curse words. However, he will not start out meeting new faces this way, instead opting to greet them with a charming smile and some well picked, honeyed words.

From a young age, Calico will have a certain swagger to his walk and a confident air about him. He will be unflappable when others sneer or toss insults his way and it will prove difficult to get under this pirate’s skin. He will understand that pirates are true to themselves and Calico Jack will never shy away from being his genuine, albeit, asshole-y, self.

Character Name: Kaede (maple)
Alignment: Neutral Good
Appearance:


Standing at 43" tall, Kaede doesn't quite make use of all of the dire genes her pirate-ma passes down to her. Still, she stands heads over most wolves. Her forepaws are mutated so that her toes are a little longer than normal, allowing her to grab things like she has hands. The base color of her pelt looks much like Sparrows, being a blend of varying shades of brown, from light and creamy to dark, reddish tones. Woven in random places on her pelt, she takes after her not-ma, Hanako, with koi-like markings. They meld into each other with vibrant whites, creams, reds and blacks, offsetting the normal coloration of the rest of her. On her face, a white mask spreads across her eyes and is split in half by the same black, koi-like splotching on the rest of her body. Peering out from the mask is another peculiarity. Her eyes are silver...for the most part. Pink coloring blots onto parts of her pupils, afflicting her with sectoral heterochromia.

Personality:
Happy and carefree, as the child of the Pirate King Kaede won't grow up knowing a lot of struggle. Of course, she'll be raised in lots of chaos, but because of being raised around many personalities she'll be very open to everyone. She considers all pirates her family and will address them as such, referring to them as aunts, uncles and cousins. Should they ever choose to leave the pirate's life, she'll be very sad, but she also recognizes their autonomy and accepts their choices.

Kaede loves to make others laugh and smile, and because of this she'll also grow to be a jokester. This desire to make others happy will also lead her to discovering her passion in life: brewing. As a youngster, she'll observe the adults drinking their beverages and note how happy they are afterwards. This will lead her to want to make her own drinks to make them happy, starting off with juices and coffees, then once she reaches the proper age, she'll begin making her own alcohol. Much like the typical barista/brewmaster, the girl will also be a great listener and will be happy to offer advice. Most of the time its great, but other times...maybe not so much.

Potential plots, plans, etc.: She'll be a brewer/barista! From a young age she'll love making drinks for those around her, adopting it from the fun loving, drinking pirates. She loves making other wolves happy by giving them good recommendations. Obviously it'll start with non-alcoholic drinks, like coffee and juices, but as she gets older, she'll start crafting her owns brews for special occasions, but also to sell! I also think it would be fun to turn one of the rooms in the ship into a Dive Bar open to the world! Lots of interesting wolves coming in and out, lots of bar fights, lots of chaos!

Personality: Kai is the picture perfect definition of extrovert. A blend of Sparrow's bravado and not Hanako's charm, this scalawag was blessed with a silver tongue and a penchant for finding (and trying to get out of) trouble. He lives for adventure and the pursuit of a good time, and he thrives with all eyes on him. To be ignored is a huge disrespect, and if he isn't in the center of attention, the lad's hunger for being in the spotlight will lead him to act out in more ostentatious and grandiose ways to ensure everyone is looking at him. As the son of the pirate king, Kai takes his family's pirate legacy very seriously. He wants nothing more than to live life by his own beat with a disregard for the rules, and though he'll be mostly obedient for his alpha mother, he won't miss the opportunity to follow the whims and wishes of his own heart, damned be whatever rules he has to skirt or break. At the end of the day, Kai's not a bad kid—he just doesn't like being told no and wants to see what he can get away with.

As he gets older, Kai will begin to develop a hedonistic taste for the baser pleasures in life, similar to his mother's own vices. Drugs, alcohol, raiding, racing, wagers, women... the more he can get his paws on, the longer the party goes! Growing up, he'll idolize Sparrow's lifestyle and swashbuckler tendencies, eventually growing into wanting to be a leader as well. This may lead him to want to captain his own crew, either within the pack as a specialized team or as a rebel band affiliated with the pirates. Whether he achieves his lofty goals or falls on his face on the climb up remains to be seen as he walks his path. But is he heading for greatness, or is he taking a long walk off a short plank?

- Adventure, ho! See all the places, fight all the things, meet all the people! Don't stop me now!
- He'll probably try to form a special puppy strike team when he gets old enough to learn about raiding with his littermates and other pack pups, wanting to do what his mother does but with hilariously bad results. Think less Blackbeard and more Jack Sparrow hijinks.
- Perhaps a potential kidnapping? Maybe he ticks off a pissed off pack or band that aren't too favorable with the pirates? I'm verr curious to see how Sparrow would take one of her kids being waylaid.
- General rambunctious puppy behavior, keep mom and the pack on their toes. Maybe he'll try to find a way into the rum stash... -shifty eyes-
- Likely a lot of flirting and girl trouble in his adolescence. He likes checking out pretty girls and I expect it'll land him in hurt feelings quite a lot. Maybe his drink his girl problems away with mom while lamenting that love sucks
