Three bottles deep into his evening, the alcohol he'd purchased from the traveling trader hadn't been weak like he had suspected. He'd yet to find anything worth his time in this land but this man had proven him wrong. It was stronger than anything he'd had and closely resembled what he was used to back home. After the trader had been so generous to let him try a taste, Sverre eagerly purchased his entire stock and quickly sought to make camp for the night so that he could enjoy himself.
It probably wasn't very smart to climb to the top of the waterfalls to binge drink but that was the last thing on his mind. Instead, he wanted to drink until the sun came up and it hadn't even made it past the horizon yet. By the time he had gotten to the top however, the sun had nearly set and hardly any light cast over the land beneath. He made quick work of setting up camp since he didn't plan on staying longer than a night and sleep wasn't something he was planning on. What came of the morning he didn't know nor did he care to think about it.
Now that the sun had been set for some hours, Sverre giggled like a child at his puffin and fox as they struggled to get him away from the edge. He finally obliged, however it was only to slip in some mud near the river that became the waterfall. Bursting out into a fit of laughter as he splayed out in the mud, he didn't even try to get himself out. Seemingly frustrated, his companions left him to roll in the mud and he did exactly that and had a grand time doing it, as if the cacophony of laughter coming from a grown man wasn't clear enough.

There had been a lot of commotion going on in Tojo as of late. Between finding their real father to new members to keeping himself busy, Kuroo needed a break. Just a small one for one night where he could cool off and recollect himself. His brother had even returned recently with their childhood friend claiming they had feelings for each other. Still mulling over this new development, Kuroo set off for the nearby falls. The rushing sound of the water slamming against the surface of the pond was almost relaxing as he approached it.
Night was beginning to settle and he would have to find a good spot to rest for a while. As he began to walk around the pond, his ears twitched in the direction of the top of the falls. A peal of almost maniacal laughter pierced the air and caused him to look up. Confusion caused his brow to furrow as the sound was familiar. Did he know this wolf? Changing his direction so that he headed toward the falls, he followed a narrow path to the top. After a few minutes of precarious climbing, he come over the edge and came across a small campsite.
A small fire with two companions lingered, but at first, he didn't notice the man rolling around in the mud. Not until another burst of laughter caused his ears to flick back for a moment. Who in the world? Turning to glance over at darkening shadows, he finally spotted the denim and fiery-colored man that was nearly brown by now. "Sverre?" Kuroo questioned as he moved closer. The smell of booze was overpowering and made his nose wrinkle. "What are you doing?" It felt like ages since he had seen Sverre and he could hardly hide his confusion.

It wouldn't take long before the man was completely covered from nose to tail in mud. He'd probably regret it later, but at least there was water so he could wash off. Though taking a bath now would ruin all of his fun. He hadn't known that he was being watched until he heard a familiar voice behind him and he craned his head backwards to look at the familiar man upside down with a lopsided grin. "Kuurrrrrrrooooooo," His voice trailed on, elongating his name as he drug out the end. It was fun to say and even drunk he'd be lying if he said he didn't like the way it felt. His body rolled then to right himself as he tried to stand in the slippery mud, his legs only slipping out from beneath him causing him to laugh more. After a few tries he inevitably gave up in a fit of laughter again because nothing wasn't funny right now.
Unfortunately for the both of them, Sverre was a rather amorous drunk. And he certainly hadn't forgotten about the time he saved Kuroo's life, either. A smirk crept across his face as he spoke freely, the alcohol preventing any reservations or embarrassment. "Just waiting for my hero's kiss. You don't think I forgot saving you, do you?" He was a master of keeping his words together when he was drunk, however his accent came out thicker. He was teasing... somewhat. He'd never expect Kuroo to follow through with it, but he certainly wouldn't stop it either. Really, he just wanted to see what he would do. Would it make him uncomfortable? Would he actually do it? The smirk never left his face though as fiery eyes watched the pale man, trying his best to hold it together just in case Kuroo might do it.

Kuroo wasn't sure if he was supposed to laugh or be disappointed. The sight of Sverre's denim-colored body now fully enveloped in the muck was quite hilarious, but it was obvious that Sverre was drunk. Having never had a sip of alcohol before Kuroo wasn't sure what the effects were or how he would even react as such. So maybe he shouldn't be judging the boy that he had felt his heart flutter for previously. Even as Sverre drug out his name and rolled around more into a fit of laughter, Kuroo glanced at the companions. Not that they would be much help.
Sighing, Kuroo stepped forward to see if he could help Sverre get up at least. When he went to raise a paw to offer it to Sverre, the other man inquired about a hero's kiss. Both eyes widened as his ears pressed forward. A kiss? That was something Kuroo had never shared with anyone else before. He couldn't just go out giving kisses to any boy that showed him attention, right? Wasn't that what Sayuri had said? That he should wait until he knows who the right one was? Hesitating, he took a few steps closer until he was nearly over top Sverre.
"You have some mud in your teeth, hero," Kuroo replied back with a small smile as he glanced down at the drunk Sverre. "Your kiss will have to wait for another time," when that time was, Kuroo didn't know, but it would work for now. Stepping back to give Sverre some space and be near the warm fire, he sat down and wrapped his tail around his haunches. Now to see what the response would be to that...

Sprawled about in the mud, Sverre was quite happy with himself. As Kuroo approached, he smirked as his words seemed to take the splotched man by surprise. It wasn't the reaction he was looking for exactly, or he should say it wasn't the reaction he expected from the other man. He was really too drunk to think much more about it, but he had at least figured the man to run off, or at the very least take some steps back. Instead, the pale man stood over him and Sverre smirked, rolling onto his back in the mud and curling his paws into his chest. He was about ready to pucker and open his arms up (definitely not so that he could grab him and drag him down into the mud with him, nope, not at all!) when the man spoke and his smirk drooped into a dramatic frown.
At the mention of mud in his teeth, he desperately tried to wipe them clean with his tongue but it wouldn't be enough. He pouted a bit, rolling back over and watching Kuroo as he walked away, eyes focusing on places they didn't need to be. "Is that a promise?" he purred, smirked, and attempted to stand again, only this time was successful. He carefully moved himself out of the mud and slowly moved towards Kuroo, a devilish look on his face as he contemplated all the various ways he could get Kuroo muddy with his own sloppy coat.

He heard the sultry purr of Sverre's words. If the man hadn't been so drunk, he might have been swayed more. Maybe it was because he had never been drunk before. No one had ever told him that drunk words were sober thoughts. As disappointed as he wanted to be in Sverre's shenanigans, he couldn't help but laugh at the image of Sverre being completely coated in mud. Sitting firm with his paws digging into the dirt, he watched Sverre carefully in case the man were to slip and fall again.
Narrowing his eyes as Sverre began to stalk closer to him with a devilish smirk, Kuroo raised a brow. "Will you remember come tomorrow if I do promise?" He retorted back as his own lips peeled up into a smile. As the man crept closer to him, his ears pressed forward and face tilted to the side. "What are you intending to do mister muddy?" Kuroo teased as he tried to scoot back on his butt, guessing what Sverre possibly was attempting to do...

The question the other man asked as he approached made him smirk as he approached slowly still, careful to make sure that he wouldn't stumble over his own drunk paws and slippery mud. "I dunno, maybe you should wait and find out," he purred through his smirk and winked, struggling to hold back a laugh after at his invitation to spend the night with him. If his plan were successful, Kuroo would be muddy in no time... and you can't get in bed muddy, that's gross!
As he moved closer the spotted wolf, he was asked his intentions and he felt that it wouldn't be very fun to share his secrets. Instead, he slowed his pace until he came to a stop. Lowering his chest to the ground in a play bow, his butt wiggled from side to side a bit before he pounced. With arms wide, he sought to wrap his muddy limbs and body around whatever he could grab of the man, hoping the alcohol hadn't slowed him down too much.

His paws slipped in the mud as he watched Sverre lean down into a play bow. With one brow raised out of curiosity and a nervous chuckle leaving his pale lips, he was ultimately going to be too slow. Feeling the squelch of mud between his toes as he turned to turn and stand to get out of the way, he was suddenly covered by a heavy lump of wet warmth. Letting out a loud OOF as he began to fall over, there was nowhere for him to go. Sverre had successfully wrapped his long legs around him in a bear hug as they went crashing to the ground.
Feeling his body collide with the muddy grass, Kuroo closed his eyes tightly. He couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation. Wiggling until he was facing Sverre better, he squinted up at the blue-coated man. Even as Sverre's warm alcohol-laden breath washed over him, he gave his head a shake. "Now what do you suppose we are going to do from here?" He teased with a smirk as he continued to try and wiggle out of Sverre's grasp. Feeling his heartbeat rise while he stared up at those fiery eyes, he felt a stir in his belly. What in the world were these feelings?

He felt his arms wrap around the smaller man and he smirked as they landed on the ground, pinning Kuroo beneath him and effectively covering him in mud. The smirk never left his face as he stared down at the spotted man trapped beneath him, looking over the muddy work he'd done and dragging his gaze slowly across him. Sober the man had felt strange around the smaller man and now soaked with mud and alcohol he was no different, except he was a bit more forward.
The man wriggled beneath him until they were facing each other better and Sverre met his gaze, his own mixed with playfulness and something else.. something daring. The smirk never left the mans face even after the pinned man beneath him spoke. He hummed a sound of interest and wonder, feigning thought before dipping his chin down to Kuroo's ear. "Any suggestions?" He whispered, hot breath mere centimeters away.
