Deluge was angry.

She didn’t understand much of feelings, but she did understand that. She stomped her way up and down the beach with a scowl on her face, her tail lashing in occasional annoyance. The worst part was, she didn’t even understand why. Her bones hurt and the den was cramped and she hadn’t been sleeping very well, but that was probably to be expected, but her mother wouldn’t take the time to explain that to her, instead she had just told her to get out and get some sun and leave her be. No gentle soothing touches or offers for something to help take the edge off, no not for Deluge with her aching, itchy head.

Her claws flexed in the sand as she stomped. Maybe she could fight the frustration away? She put out a call to anyone that wanted a scrap, even the grown ups. She wasn’t afraid to punch above her weight.

To Scald, it didn't matter if his siter was larger. It didn't matter if she had horns or sharp claws or whatever else he didn't have. He was scared of her and her ferocious attitude. Even as his lanky body froze in mid-stride at the sound of Deluge's call, he didn't hesitate to answer. Feeling rather boisterous himself and wanting to get out some energy that wasn't just walking around, he raced toward his sister. A giddy laugh left his lips as he curled them back in a smirk. "Ready or not!" He called out as he picked up the pace and came barreling at her with no holding back. Compared to his siblings, he was the slimmer one who needed to be quick to get the advantage. Leaping up with paws extended, he aimed to wrap them around Deluge's neck and cling on for dear life.
