They had made the move to the ship rather smoothly. He had to wonder if the wolf he met here before was still lurking around the borders of it or if he’d moved on. He felt a little bad taking someone's home, but in the end, it was Wren’s call, not his. And it wasn’t like he had actually told her about the man he’d met here. Ah well, Beauregard thought. He wouldn’t dwell on it. Right now there were other things to do, tasks that could make the lives of himself and his packmates better. Before the move he had thought about gathering herbs… but for today? Today he wanted to stay around the ship and maybe interact with those he called his fellows. The yearling had decided the best thing to do would be to start organizing some of the rooms within the ship and getting them fixed up. Given how many rooms there were in the massive ship it would take ages for him to do it alone but at least he could make start the process. Especially if it meant converting some of the rooms into comfortable living quarters for his packmates. So down into one of the rooms Beauregard went, ears perked forward as he moved into the dusty room. This one had the weird wooden thing on one side, shuffled off against the wall, and the nesting area too. There were anciet, thick leaves on the floor. Books, he had been told they were called, that were likely once on the table before the ship made it to its final destination. The window of the room was closed though sunlight filtered in through it. Well, he could start by moving the thick leaves to one side of the room and stacking them up nice… or maybe even move all of them to a different room altogether at some point. There was one of the chests that he’d found with Torben at the foot of the bed, the nesting spot, too. A wolf could use that to store their personal belongings, he thought. He moved over to one of the books and gingerly picked the thing up with his mouth. It tasted of layers of dust and salt… he made a face. This was going to be a task for sure. "Speech," 'Thought.' |
