Basilisk had heard by now about his mothers kidnapping at the hands of the pirates, and the revenge his father had delivered to them. He knew also that the pirates had taken his fathers ear tip in the battle. Perhaps it was foolish that Basilisk wanted some part in his mothers revenge, and thought it would be only fitting if he managed to return home with a piece of the ear from the wolf that had taken his fathers.
Borrowing his fathers bat (to help him identify the man) he made his way close to the pirate pack territory. And hunkered down for a long wait. Basilisk, being Basilisk, was wise enough to bring snacks. He nibbled as he waited, and waited, and then waited some more.
Finally, half asleep, he was startled awake by Diablo, before the bat pointed at the pretty wolf exciting the Pirates territory. Pulling himself out of hiding, the towering yearling made his way forward. “You! You took my fathers ear, and I’m here to take yours” he declared boldly.

Artisan was just out and about, minding his own business and intending to enjoy a casual walk through the neighbouring gulley and then this guy had to come and ruin it. Whatever happened to letting bygones be bygones? The damn wolf was built like a mountain and Artisan wasn't much of a fighter. Beating the Armadan alpha had been dumb luck at best but it had lifted his spirits and helped him to get past his dreadful showing at the raid. Now here the son was, eager to avenge the guys' missing ear when it was his stupid ass idea to trespass into the land of pirates anyways!
"That's no way to treat your elders." Artisan grumbled to the boy. "Look go back and talk to your daddy and I'm sure you'll come to understand. He walked over a border. He attacked my alpha. He endangered a litter of newborns. He kicked the shit out of my packmates. He had one itty bitty ego hit with the loss to me and frankly, he deserved it. If he can't get past the knowledge that you can't win 'em all, I hope at least you grow up smarter and take your losses like a big boy." He sniffed, clearly annoyed to be put in this position when all he had been looking for was a walk through some pretty flowers. "If you insist on being pissy, you can come back with me to the beach. I'll get you some mead and meat in that belly and we can talk it out like reasonable individuals, kay
Artisan wears multiple twine bracelets around his forelegs, each one with different colored homemade marble-like beads upon it. Each bead corresponds to a wolf who he has met and decided deserved a place on his wrist, and thus he might ask your character for a lock of fur, etc to add to his creation to remember your character by.
Unless otherwise stated, you can assume he is wearing them at all times.
Artisan's companions are two blue and yellow macaws, their names are Siri(F) and Cisco(M) and while they can be assumed to always be nearby, they're likely out of sight.
