As Sota made his way toward the eastern coast of Auster, he was careful to not unintentionally cross the borders of the pack that lay claim to so many of the surrounding lands. Everyone who knew Sota knew the last thing he ever wanted was trouble. No, today he was just here to see the coast, a landscape he didn't generally seek out. He almost always preferred the comforts of the castle and the surrounding woodlands. Something about these wide open spaces had a way of making him feel even smaller than usual, which was really saying a lot, but today he didn't quite mind the feeling.

The sun was at its peak overhead, a refreshing contrast to the crisp breeze of the salty ocean air. Beneath his paws was a wide stretch of sand, warm to the touch and interspersed with little tidepools from the ocean's waves. What was left behind by the receding tide was a sight to behold - dozens of small hermit crabs could be seen scuttling across the sand. Their movements were weirdly mesmerizing and Sota found himself fixated on the sight, watching as a few moved in unison from one tide pool to the next, before disappearing beneath the water, leaving a small rippling wake behind.

Sota has a male bamboo lemur companion named Kaito, he's sometimes nearby but usually only if stated!

She and Greed were out hunting, so Claire took to the nearby cove to see what she could find, while he went to look elsewhere. Life in the Hallows was good. Though she mostly kept to herself, she needed to try and interact more. She had little troubles to deal with, and really, whatever problems she had were trivial compared to what others dealt with, she was sure. So despite what she felt, she made herself primarily focus on the task at hand. But...all she could really see were crabs. Everywhere. They scuttled around, some in unison like a choreographed stage, and others scuttled every which way with no real chosen path. Still, it was kind of mesmerizing to watch as they dipped in and out of the tide pools.

As she carefully navigated the tide pools, she spotted a vaguely familiar figure a short distance away. He was a pack wolf...one that she should probably know by now, but his name escaped her mind. Was he out here just watching the crabs? Perhaps enjoying the day, and was out for a walk? Or maybe something else? Maybe it'd do her some good to see if there was something she could help him with, if he needed it. "Er, hello. Lovely day, isn't it?" An awkward greeting at best, but it was better than awkwardly staring at him in silence.
