Tallulah walked around Avalon's territory, keeping mind of the patrol and also the distance. She entered what the locals called... the Soulless Forest. Far braver than some or perhaps ignorant of the supernatural, the girl walked in without a care. The thick mist swirled around her paws when she stepped, breaking up after each stomp only to convene again on her location. Blue-brown eyes glanced around, only to stop and focus when someone was openly staring at her through the fog.

She did not blink. She did not call out. Not at first, anyway. She openly stared back, confused as to why he was here. Tallulah had left him behind to watch out for Pa. No sooner did that hit her mind, did her legs begin to shake. No... Pa was fine, wasn't he? She knew she shouldn't have left him alone. His daughter was all he had, and she had taken that away from him. "Cass?" she finally spoke, the fog becoming too sensitive and dense to grab hold of him for a long time. Was this a trick?

Was this one of those will-o-the-wisps that Pa told her about?

"speech here"

After coming to in that basin, Cassius knew he couldn't sit out in the open. Herding his goat companions with him, he let them wander a bit ahead so he could keep an eye on them. Without his lasso, his prod, and his fencing, he would have to resort back to traditional herding methods to keep the rascals in line. One lip always slightly curled as he occasionally nipped at their heels to stay in line, Cass and the two goats wandered throughout the new terrain.

Having "awoken" a bit ago, he had started going east when he found out where he'd landed was near a western shore. Traveling through a desert, skirting around some awfully smelly territory, and across a shallow river, he hesitated at the edge of a foggy forest. Looking around with his medium blues, he wasn't sure if traveling through this place would be a good idea. While being out in the open was dangerous, getting lost wasn't exactly his idea of fun either.

Before he could turn the goats in a different direction, Tootin' took off like a shot into the woods. "Gosh darn it, fuckin' rascals," Cass muttered under his breath as Rootin' followed suit. Gearing up his courage, he followed into the shadows and fog of this weird wooded area. Trying his best not to trip over roots or lose his bearings, the wolfdog was soon taken by surprise when an all too familiar scent hit him. Freezing in place, his face turned to spy on the spotted girl. Unblinking, he couldn't really believe his eyes. What was she doing here?

Her voice broke his stare as his name registered in his brain. "Tallie?" He asked, southern accent thick as he took a few steps toward her. "That really you?" Cass' face tilts to the side, eyes squinting as his nose twitches a few more times. Disbelief obvious on his face, he kept his distance. "You ain't a ghost, are ya?" This new land was mysterious and he wasn't going to write off delusion and ghosts just yet.
