Kotori had come to auster to visit his sister and give her his news of starting a pack. He’d be going back home soon but he had taken time to explore the god’s garden first. His plan had been just to explore the part close to the castle but had found himself roaming out with continued curiosity.

As he got about halfway through it a roar sounded and Kotori spotted a bear coming at him. Kotori’s injuries were still healing which the bear was bound to try and take advantage of. Ah well. Biting would hurt but was perfectly doable and his horns were perfectly capable weapons as well.

Kotori met the bear’s charge, pivoting away at the last moment, turning his head to slash at the bear’s front leg with his horns before continuing past to get around behind the bear. The bear turned, standing up on two legs trying to intimidate the wolf. As if any predator could intimidate the overly-confident Kotori.

"Kotori Fatalis"

Sometimes his paws just took him places. Out of territory he went and ended up in a place that he'd passed through many times before. A sound met his ears and the brute rolled his eyes. There were too many bears in the world. Way too many. At least it wasn't in Fenmyre lands, he supposed.

The sounds of a scuffle reached him as did the scent of a wolf. Chimera sighed deeply and altered his course to move forward. His pale pink eye fell upon a wolf that he'd met at the challenge. Ko...tori? He thought that was the name. Might as well help out, eh?

Chimera ran forward, using the sound of the rushing bear to mask his own approach. Jaws opened wide and latched into one earthen heel. He threw all of his weight backwards, pulling the wide paw off of the ground. The bear stumbled, but didn't fall. It did swing around to face Chimera instead. The brute backtracked, holding its attention so Kotori could make his own attack.

"Chimera Klein"

Kotori had a faint memory of the black and white wolf.  Its interesting color scheme was one hard to forget with its symmetry so well lined up.  The wolf didn’t waste any time with any other pointless thoughts or memories about his last encounter with him or what he was doing there.  Kotori just welcomed the help.

As the bear turned to face Chimera Kotori had his opening.  The bear had already stumbled and worked to correct its balance.  Kotori wouldn’t let it be that easy.  The horned wolf stabbed his horns at the heel Chimera had just injured, a quick slash along the injury and as his horns left the injury Kotori’s face was right there to bite even deeper, muscle and tendons were bit into and the bear was forced back down onto all fours, stumbling to its left side, its balance all the worse at this point.

"Kotori Fatalis"

The horned brute gouged into the bear, teeth following the assault. The bear fell onto its left side and Chimera took full advantage. The giant wolf rocketed forward, slamming his shoulder into the bears side up near the shoulder. The momentum and the force of the blow sent the bear toppling onto its back, much to the bears surprise. It grunted as it lost balance, thick legs flailing in the air.

Chimera's teeth weren't away from the bear for long. They bit into the soft underbelly of the bear, slicing easily through flesh and fat. The brute tore at the belly between the flailing limbs. The bear groaned and threw its weight to the side, already rolling back to its feet. Blood poured from the wound and it began to shamble away, realizing its stupidity. Chimera licked his lips, blood on his tongue, and gave chase.

"Chimera Klein"

The bear was as good as dead whether or not Chimera and Kotori finished it.  Chimera was already attacking the bear’s belly when it remain exposed so Kotori took advantage of the bear’s fall a different route.  Rushing around to the front side Kotori, the wolf waited just a few seconds for the bear’s position to be perfect as it righted itself then slammed his horn into its left eye.  The eye was destroyed, oozing eye-goo and blood spilled out.

Even once it was on its feet the bear wasn’t going to make it far.  Damaged to the leg, blind in an eye and who knew how much damage Chimera had done to its innards the animal had hardly any fight left in him.  The bear was rethinking itself and would likely have run if it had thought there was any hope of it escaping.  Now it was simply in a mode of helpless defense trying to keep the wolves away instead of attacking itself.
