Princess Kiyohime was by far and away old enough to realize the feelings that were stirring within her breast for the Armada lad. She noticed by now the way he looked at her, the way her heart skipped a beat and nervous butterflies filled her belly. Remus was special to her, far more than she could have realized when she met him on the river that day. She wasn’t quite so ignorant to her own feelings and duties not to realize where the next step would take them in their relationship. He was a boy and she was a girl. There weren’t many places they could go, despite the fears she had, the path ahead was both exciting and nerve wracking.

Thoughts of a conversation long gone by had been on her mind a lot since her trip to the gulley with Remus. Back when she and Kitsune were young girls and they spoke about finding their prince one day. Meeting Remus was nothing like she had expected, but now that he had established himself in her life Ike felt like they were indeed destined for one another. Just like her sister had promised so long ago.

Ike had hopes that Kitsune would be able to give her advice now, her sister was much better with herbs and the medical aspect of the pack far more than she was. Plus there weren’t many other wolves who got her like Kit did. She sought out her sister now, "Kit?” She asked softly as she wandered down the hallways towards her sister’s room. Hopefully she was in.

Kitsune yawned and shook out her head as Ike’s voice penetrated her sleep. Iho wasn’t there with her, but perhaps her fisherman had gone out for a swim. She yawned again, stretching out her long limbs, alertness slowly returned to her. “Ike?” she responded to her sister's voice. She could hear the Crown Princess as she padded closer to her den.

She waited for the due-toned wolf to poke her head in, and then gave her bedding a pat, inviting Ike to come in and join her. She wasn’t quite ready to get up yet. “What can I help you with?” She asked, wondering if it was a social visit or if Ike had something more specific in mind.

The princess never meant to wake her sister from her slumber but she heard the yawn and the sleepy greeting after she called out to Kit. Mismatched ears fell to her skull and she very nearly ran off as embarrassment filled her. First she disturbed her sibling, and now she felt like her reasoning to be here was just silly. The girl took in a deep breath and pushed herself through the threshold tentatively.

Kit lay there in her bed with a soft smile on her face as she invited Ike in to sit beside her in the fluffy furs. Ike shyly stepped forward to sit beside her sister. She leaned into her sister’s reddish hued fur and she tried to relax but her tension was palpable. Kit spoke to her softly, immediately offering her help. Ike wasn’t sure where to start. She opened her mouth as if to begin speaking, but no words came out as she looked over to her sister. Panic filled her, even though she didn’t need to worry about what she said to her sister she was paralyzed for a very long moment.

"Have you met Remus yet?” She finally blurted out, a blush filling her cheeks as she averted her gaze. She wasn’t ashamed of the feelings she had for the young man, but talking about him and their relationship was so nerve wracking.
