Just think about it

A few days passed after her return, already settling back to the swing of things around here. She felt great being back with her family, and with energy recharged she felt ready to start doing her duties once more. For that once she woke up and took care of her fur and room, she left the warmth of her place to move towards the greenhouse. Her own happy spot in the castle. The place she had been too since she was young, and even now she loved to take care of the plants that rested there. A soft smile formed in her grey lips as she took a wood bowl with water in there, for then starting to water each plant, taking her time. She always learned to do things well, and doing so fast could ruin it quite fast. Ears were up as her tail wagged slowly, of course she was happy to help out. "" |

Bowen was up before the sun as she sometimes was. It was easier to sleep in now that Ash was asleep beside her but sometimes she simply needed to get up and go. So, the caramel and snow fae had crept silently from the chamber that she shared with her sister before making her way down the great stone staircase and out onto the castle grounds. Before she left, Bowen glanced at the fire in the hearth and remembered her mother. That fire would always remain lit. A light in the dark. The thought was warming and the woman gave a soft little smile before venturing outside.
The majority of the castle was still asleep so Bowen moved quietly around the grounds, inspecting this and that while stretching her legs. Movement caught her attention and she watched as Jane made her way to the greenhouse. With a little shrug, Bo made her way into the greenhouse as well, watching with bright green eyes as the other woman began watering the plants. "Hello, Jane," the copper marked fae spoke. "Welcome back." It was known that Jane had recently returned, just as Bowen had recently returned.

She made sure every plant had generous water, a soft smile remaining on her grey lips. This technically could be considered her preferred place to be, besides the hunting fields of course. Once each plant was watered she began checking for bugs or any plagues that could damage the valuable plants. Plants that if they were eaten off, getting them back could be hard. Some only found up on boreas, so keeping the insects away outside of bees were to be eliminated. While she did, she almost missed that someone followed her into the Greenhouse. That until she heard her voice, of someone she knew from as long as she was alive. Bowen. One of Resin's kids. She and her siblings pretty much grew up alongside them. But herself haven't talked to them like this not counting Artorias. "Bowen!" She said smiling to the white and brownish wolf. "Thanks! I am happy to be back home." Without hesitation she said. "How is this pretty morning threating you?" Hopping the was doing well. "" |

Jane shot her a smile and Bowen returned it, emerald eyes crinkling at the corners. The pair hadn't really gotten to know one another on a personal level, but they did know of each other. The only one that Bo really knew from that litter was Emile, but he was a stranger these days. It was unfortunate, but she couldn't force him to like her. Not after her outburst towards him oh so long ago.
When asked how the morning was, Bowen gave a little shrug. "We all woke up today, so I can't complain." The small fae motioned to the plants with a point of her pink nose. "Are the plants doing okay?" Bowen didn't know anything at all about plants. She could pick flowers, but she'd never had a knack for knowing what was useful and what was a weed. Despite this, the woman reached forward and plucked a piece of greenery that seemed out of place. She wouldn't make this a regular thing, but since she was here and Jane was working, she may as well help a bit.

She kept doing her things, being carful enough.
What she said was totally true, they were all alive and well for the most part. And now that she was back, nothing seemed to go any better for her. And hopefully for everyone else here. Ears moved forward while she both listened and worked on her plants. Plants she had boned with from the start of her journey in this place. And nothing seemed to be able to drive her away from them beside her own demons. "Yes they are! I can see they had been kept well while I was away. These are my life." Not in a literal way bu close.
It felt nice to have company, she wasn't one to be on her own for too long unless she felt it necessary for those she loved.

Jane spoke of her love for the flowers and Bowen chuckled softly. It was interesting, the different things that ones could come to love. Silence fell between the two and Bowen watched Jane methodically care for the plants around them. Bo continued to do what she could for the plants, popping off the heads of dead and crusted blooms, removing weeds and the like. The caramel fae didn't need to speak. She could tell that her company was good enough for Jane and Jane's was certainly good enough for her. In time, the woman's chin found one tucked paw and her emerald eyes became heavy. The warmth of the greenhouse was lulling her into an extreme sense of calm. If she allowed herself, she would quickly fall asleep. Best distract herself with more conversation.
"How is Emile?" The fae asked softly. Jane's brother had been one of her first friends. They weren't friends any longer, but she found that she still cared about the man's well being. He'd been a ghost around the castle for a long time. In fact, her last encounter with him had been one of utter embarrassment as her anxiety and his had clashed in a confined space. Thankfully she was no longer that wretched creature, but she didn't quite know how to approach her old friend.
