This place was beautiful, Ruby felt her heart soar with every step she took. The grass against her pads were cool, the hills almost rolled in forever. She was in a new land with new scents and this was stimulation she craved. Feeling the sun warming her purple coat she took a moment to find some water to check her appearance. Ruby could hear the streams, the birds, and even the rustle of small prey among the undergrowth.

"So this is Boreas?" she chuckled. Running full speed across the grass before she dove down and began rolling in it. Scratching her back against the earth before she jumped up shaking dirt from her fur. It wasnt ideal but she could always wash off later. After all this place seemed to be somewhere she could thrive.

He was halfway to being a yearling now. Akuma had been spending a lot of time with his family, too much time in fact, that it was stifling. He wanted personal space, and although he loved his family, it was getting to be too much for him. He shook out his fur as he padded across the prairie, crimson-striped pelt ruffled by the breeze and it felt good on his form. By now, he was aware that the weird bump on his forehead was now a crystallized horn and not some freak wound he had gotten when he was a baby. He felt more confident now that he knew he had a natural weapon, one that could be deadly if he wielded it right. The lanky youth was still learning how to wield it. What was the saying? With great power, came great responsibility? One day, he'd learn to wield it properly. For now, though, it aided in making him appear a bit more menacing. No doubt though that he'd look even more so when he got older.

He was minding his own business when he heard chuckling and then found the scent of someone he hadn't met before. A stranger. Female. Older than him, obviously. The gangly-legged pup made his way closer to investigate, and upon getting closer, found a purple-hued she-wolf shaking dirt off her fur. "Hello," He greeted with caution. She was pretty, he had to admit.

It seemed something interesting had already made its way to her. She looked at the young wolf he smelled like a yearling in the back of her mind she congradulated the child for making it to this age in this world. Even more interesting still he was almost taller than her, he would be huge in his adult life. A thought krept into her despicable mind.

She grinned at him shaking out her fur and tending to a few strands of fur. "Hello young man. Whats got someone like you out here?" her voice was said to always sound comforting like a mothers. "My names Ruby thats an interesting weapon you got there, beautiful really." mutation? She wondered if more of the beasts were built like this one.
