Once the first song had died out, he raised his head again. This time to summon the daughter of Banshee. A wolf he had decided to call granddaughter. He wished to know this newest member of his family. It was Banshee who had told him of her love for healing, and had inspired the healer back that Bear currently held for him. He rested on his hunches, leaning lightly against his bear companion as he waited for the young girl to show.
Verity was busy arranging and dusting her various jars of both fresh and dried herbs. She had built a small shelving unit to go in her den. The dried herbs were on the top while the fresh tucked away, awaiting drying. Mother told her she needed to keep it neat and tidy that way there were no mixing up what was what. The last thing you wanted to do as a healer was give a patient the wrong herb. Just as she was placing a new jar on the top shelf two howls back to back made it's way into her den. The first for Venom but the next was for herself. Verity froze with shock for a moment. After quickly adjusting the jar to be perfectly in line with the others Ver made her way to the call, not wanting to make her Grandfather wait too long. The small girl arrived promptly with a small smile on her lips. The massive Wolf was leaned against a Bear. A truly impressive sight that made her tail swish with excitement. Verity padded up to Sirius and offered a cock of her head, "Is everything okay, Grandpa Seere?" Calling him grandpa was new and she was testing it on her tongue. But, the youngling enjoyed the way it sounded and there was something about Sirius that Verity really enjoyed. She felt incredibly comfortable around the titan.

“And to give you this” He said, unslinging it and holding it down to Verity's eye height. “Your mother tells me you wish to be a healer. This sturdy leather will serve you well, and-” he opened the satchel to show her the inside “As well as a main pocket, there's little side ones to store all sorts of different things” He explained, indicating with a motion for her to take the bag.
Verity had to tilt her head up quite a bit as Sirius stood up straight. She couldn't get over how big he was, but she figured he'd likely fell the same about her extremely small size. Even for a pup she was well below average in height and even on the slim side when it came to her build. Even his daughter Kite was so much taller then her, Verity was slowly coming to the realization that these lands were full of Wolves much, much, larger then her and she'd need to learn how to defend herself. Not all were going to be so kind like her new family members. - Her Father swept into her mind, but only for a moment. Verity feared one day he may even be an enemy she might have to fight off. - The girl cleansed her mind of such thoughts and focus on her Grandfather. Sirius offered warm greetings, a smile, and a question. Verity nodded quickly with a smile of her own, "Yes, of course! I was just organizing my herbs, nothing exciting." Okay, it was a little exciting to her. But, not nearly as exciting as spending the day with Seere. "What are we gonna do?" Her tail wagged gently, she figured he had something planned for them. Seeing as he came all this way. Verity hadn't guessed what came next. Sirius offered her a leather satchel, explaining and displaying the various pockets. The youngling's eyes went wide and her lower jaw nearly hit the ground. That tail went wild, "It's exactly what I've been dreaming of!" The babe ran at Sirius aiming to hug his front leg for a few moments. Her eyes stung with tears but she blinked them away, "You are seriously the best. This will help so much!" She unlatched herself from Seere and turned back towards the bag. Without hesitation she'd slip her head through the strap and allow it to hang over a shoulder. It was a smidge large but she still had some growing to do. So, in the long run it'd be perfect. Verity took a step back and beamed at Seere, "Thank you." Her eyes remained glossy, the tears had been from the joy she was experiencing. No one other then her Mother had ever given her such a gift before.

He held the bag up for her to slip into, and she did so easily enough. He released it, and it fell against her shoulder. Hmm. a little large, but not overly so, and she still had some growing to do… hopefully. “Well” He said briskly. “You’ll grow into it.” He gave her one last appraising look, and then turned the matters over to something else. “While I’m here, I thought you might like some instructions. Do you have any interest in fighting, or perhaps hunting?” Those where his expertise
Verity was more then pleased with her new satchel. That smile would take quite some time to fade even the slightest. She'd never been gifted anything of this caliber before and it would help her endlessly with herb gathering. She couldn't wait to show up to her next healing lesson and show Seere what she got! Ver offered a quick nod when he mentioned her growing into it. The babe was merely 6 months she still had another two seasons of growing to do. Eventually it should fit perfectly. "It is perfect." Assuring her Grandfather while flashing her smile up at him. She was glad to know their day was not over just yet. Seer inquired about her interests, seeing if she'd like a lesson in fighting or hunting. Verity thought it over for a swift moment before offering another nod. "I'd like to get better at hunting. There a lot of resources you can collect from animals." Of course he knew that, but it was clear she was not only interested in hunting to provide food for the pack but she also wished to learn how to skin and tan. "I'd love a lesson." Verity was excited to learn from such an impressive Wolf.

“First, let's start with tracking. Find a scent, and see if you can identify what it is. Then, we will track it go through the appropriate way of moving carefully” He explained, indicating with a paw for her to take the lead in scenting.
They were to begin with tracking. It seemed like the appropriate place to start. It was half the work that went into hunting. Verity offered a small nod as he spoke the instruction. Anticipation soared through the youngling as she thought over the steps in her head. Sirius seemed to confident and skilled, Verity wanted nothing more then to impress her Grandpa. But she wasn't going to compromise the lesson by biting off more then she can chew. "Simple enough." She looked up to him and wrinkled her nose in a rather cheeky way, showing her words were not to be taken for face value. Time to get down to business. The small pup turned towards the thick of the forest and allowed her mind to focus totally on the prey activity surrounding them. Scents floated her way, invading her nose and mouth. She could tell that the white forest was frequented by an array of animals, prey and predator. But there was a fresh scent that stuck out above them all. "It smells like... a bird..." It wasn't the normal sort... Verity took it upon herself to begin slowly moving in the direction of the scent Green eyes flicked around but mostly remained low to watch for tracks. "I think there's a Turkey nearby." Ver's voice was low but she remained full of anticipation as she awaited confirmation from her teacher.
