Roly Poly
Rhysand
Fia wasn't on a patrol but she had taken the time and energy to get out of the den and start routine walks along the borders. She had been given more freedom in age but that also meant more responsibility. And soon she'd be making patrols all by herself which was expected of any strong wolf inside of Elysium. And to her, none of them should have been weak or they should have been thrown out or purge. A little heartless for a young girl maybe, but she just couldn't imagine being helpless in any event.
As she rounded the borders of Firefly lake, a large lioness tried to stalk it's way through the dying winter grasses and into their home. She wouldn't have any of that. A few seasons ago she would have called for help. But she was full grown now and had her sharp teeth and claws to handle the situation on her own. She at least knew there would be an actual patroller around had anything turned south.
She bolted forward to intersect the cat while it crossed onto Elysium lands and she wouldn't give it any warning before leaping up onto it's shoulders and tumbling around on the ground with it. The cat could make a lethal scratch, but she could too.
It'd been a few weeks since joining Elysium and Rhys was finding it quite enjoyable. Everyone pretty much let him do as he pleased as long as he carried his weight. The pale beasty never missed one of his routine patrols, helped with hunting, and focused on bettering his fighting skills in the off time. Now, he hadn't a clue of the politics or any of the details of what was going on in the higher ranks. But, until he reached that level of importance, if ever, that was not a concern. Rhys would happily remain blissfully ignorant. On one of these routine patrols Rhysand found himself moving along the Firefly Lake border. Long strides carried the slim male along with ease as his eyes scanned the region for anything out of the ordinary. Mostly stale smells of the comings and goings of Elysian Wolves filled his nose and Rhys was sure to scent when needed. But, as continued on a more peculiar smell filled his senses. It was feline, a predator most likely. Immediately he slowed down and moved in the direction of which it came. After a short time of tracking green eyes consumed the sight of a red She-Wolf and a Lioness struggling. Without hesitation Rhysand sprinted in their direction. He came up behind the Lioness, digging his paws into the earth in hopes of pi8cking up more speed. As the distance closed Rhys dipped his head down and aimed a vicious bite to the feline's neck. Blood seeped from the wound into his mouth as the male whipped his head side to side. The wider the lacerations were the more blood the trespasser would lose, thus weakening them.

Just as she was finding her footing back under herself, another young brute was coming to take action too. She was quick to rise on her paws, getting well adjusted as her body was filling out in age and her legs and paws were a lot less awkward these days. She was surely a nimble little lady.
With the brute jumping up onto the back of the lioness, Fia came head on to it, biting down harshly around it's muzzle. It put her physically close to the boy but she cared little for that. Especially in the heat of the battle.
Her serrated teeth did bad damage to the cat, and with a large paw swiping up at it's face, Fia was knocked off and to the ground with some injury herself. That wouldn't stop her, she'd land back on her paws and wait for the next opening.
