Lesson One: Poultices

Saia let the herbs boil until they smelled just as her sister instructed and showed. She had handled hot pots like this before so she would easily take care of the pot and herbs inside without burning herself. Moving her attention to the cloth her sister provided and pulling at the edges to open it up she then placed the herbs inside carefully. Rolling up the cloth around the boiled herbs she pat her paw on top of the layered fabric and looked up from her station. She'd rise after a few seconds, some seemed to want to stay and some wanted to go. Saia had some other responsibilities to take care of. Walking to her mother briefly she placed a gentle nuzzle on her cheek before stepping away.
