My Own Destruction

Duchess and Noir had come to stay in the eastern lands and with that came a lot of buried emotions. She couldn't know that Indigo wasn't out of Elysium now, and the longer they stayed nearby to more tension she felt. Noir was moving through his own turmoil, or at least made a breakthrough for himself. She wasn't sure how much deeper it could go, but she would still be here for him. She'd continue to keep her own history to herself at the sake of his own. She'd always see him above herself anyway.

She moved through the steppe to make a journey just a little ways west in hopes to find some dinner to take home. She was much more attentive today than usual days, but still not happy and perky. Maybe a normal expression for her. She wouldn't expect to meet anyone on the trail at least and these days, she'd much rather be on her own when she wasn't with Noir.
