Even with his advance warning Indigo’s opponent did not move as quickly as he would have expected her to. Like he’d somehow still caught her off guard. Well, it didn’t matter except for her chest as his claws raked over her skin. He let the force of his attack keep his movement going so when she pivoted they were not chest to chest when she rammed her head forward. She got him full on in the shoulder, which would certainly leave a bruise but was held back slightly by his armor. She very nearly bashed into his jaw on the upswing, but he was already sidestepping. Barely missing a dangerous hit.

With her being so conveniently close, Indigo aimed to wrap his neck around hers and grab hold of her scruff with his fanged teeth. Though he was in the heat of the moment he didn’t aim to break skin, he only wanted to gain control of her and of the rest of their fight. The quicker he was done, the faster they could escort Elysium back home and enjoy the feast they would provide.

It turned out that the young wolf was rather sturdy. It mattered little to Aslatiel. He didn't go down as she planned, but the fawn and grey fae was adaptable. He attempted to swipe at her with one big paw, but his sturdiness was also a detriment. Asla was small and whip quick. The woman threw herself on her back, sharpened kitten claws pushing outward from her paws and into the big brutes tender and delicate underside. You know, the belly and other bits. Her paws were in use but her teeth were not, so Asla also aimed a bite to the blonde man's knee.

All around him, fights broke out. They didn't seem to hold any seriousness to them, after all, this was more a practice raid than anything. That was fine by him. He didn't feel like he was up to par for a real raid, anyway. Not yet at least. It had been a while since he had done this, so he was content with waiting and watching. At least, until one of his dogs growled a warning. Before he could turn to see what or who was coming, he spotted another dog coming at him from in front, snarling and barking at him. He snarled back, hackles raised, though he didn't know who's companion it was. Regardless, he lifted a heavy paw and got ready to aim a heavy-clawed swipe at the beast when he felt something hit his right hip. Surprised, he grunted and growled, knowing that whatever had just hit him would likely leave that spot bruised and sore, though he let the momentum of whoever it was help him pivot, his heavy paw swiping towards whoever it was. Through a narrowed gaze, he didn't quite realize who it was, and he wasn't fast enough to figure it out before his paw potentially made contact.

And the mastiff? One of his dogs went to meet it, intercepting its attack on Ifrit while he handled his attacker. Whether or not his first strike hit, he sought to keep close, and it was in this proximity that the vague scent of someone he recognized washed over him. "Cinaed!?" He hadn't expected to run into his littermate here of all places! He wasn't even sure how to feel about this! Did he hate his brother? No. Was he angry? Also no. Confusion settled in, though also a feeling of wanting. He had no idea how to feel, and it made him falter for a moment. But was now the time to falter just because it was his brother? No. Ifrit wasn't really one to back down, and he doubted his brother was, either. If anything, they could hash it out after this practice raid. So for now, he surged forward in an attempt to push his brother back, head lowered as he sought to use his horns to deflect any oncoming teeth.

Vindr's well-timed save came at just the moment Saracyn needed it, his raptor doing his job of distracting the golden wolf enough for Sara to press forward and find the momentum he needed. He did not notice the pangolin hiding in the other wolf's fluffy mane until he heard the scuffle above his head, seeing the weird armored rat thing beating off Vindr with a surprising amount of might. To his bird's credit, Vindr did not back off either, screeching and clawing back at the pangolin's little claws in a fierce battle of their own. It didn't matter though. Sara was able to get beneath the other dire, throwing him back exactly as he hoped. But what he hadn't expected was to feel the scrabble of claws raking along the sides of his leather harness. Several times the other brute failed to find purchase in his skin thanks to his armor, but just as Saracyn gave a growl and shoved forward with all his might, the golden wolf's claws hooked under the edge of his armor, and Saracyn felt himself being yanked to the side.

Gravity shifted. He tried to brace his legs, but it was too late. His opponent's weight moved with his momentum, and Sara was pulled off of his paws, both dire brutes going toppling over one another to the ground. His shoulder hit the dirt and grass with a grunt, but the prince was otherwise mostly unharmed. He was, however, still grappling with his opponent on the ground now. Shifting about as quick as he could, Sara curled himself up to bring his powerful hind legs up between him and the other brute, kicking forward aimed at his foe's stomach with all his might. His intent was to kick the other wolf off of him, and if he could, he would roll back to his paws and make that final lunge to pin the Valtan wolf down and out.

Albion was much more difficult to move than his build would lead to believe. However thin and athletic he was, his structural integrity was far greater than the average wolf. His swiped his dangerous claws at her, but with her swift movements he had missed. Albion wasn’t so slow that he was going to let her anywhere near his underbelly. As she reached up to claw him back the young prince used his deft paws to leap over her, but didn’t quite dodge her little nipping teeth. She snagged him on the way by, so Albion did what made the most sense. He aimed to stomp her vulnerable throat.

As the shorter Strix rushes up to meet his larger, and much taller opponent, a smile plays across his lips. Lowering his head, the boy aims to bite at the man’s toes and succeeds. As he suspects, the taller wolf goes for his scruff, the bent neck and bunched skin too tempting of a target to miss. However, as he feels the male’s teeth tighten around his scruff, the boy snaps his teeth harder on the blue wolf’s paw and it causes him to jerk back a step. The silly wolf attempts to take the smaller wolf with him and the boy is ready to counter.

Feeling the weight man’s weight shift backward, Strix lowers himself slightly and coils his muscles while further arching his neck so that his chin is firmly tucked to his chest. Within a split second, he launches himself upward, attempting to slam his neck into the man’s nose. As he moves, the smaller wolf snaps his head upward, trying to slam the top of his head into the underside of the taller male’s jaw and, hopefully, make his see some stars. As his head moves up, he also aims to try and bite at the blue opponent’s neck, using all of his skill to in an attempt to eke out a victory.

Her horns narrowly missed the man's jaw, bashing instead into his shoulder though to her chagrin it was armored meaning it would be less effective than otherwise, still a hit was a hit and the woman would take what she could get. She was just starting to reposition, trying to move herself to be more parralell to him when his jaw came craning around to scruff her. She was more aware and focused now so her movement was a little bit quicker this time, though she didn't avoid his jaws totally, he even still managed to grab at her scruff though it was more the side of her neck and it yanked her head towards him... Well, might as well not fight it! Maybe repeating an attack was boring but if he was gonna grab her then he couldn't expect her not to try and headbutt him again. She swung her head towards him again, hoping that this time she'd bash him more in the neck or throat, maybe force a release. Though never repeat an attack and not include something new to keep them on their toes. At the same time she flashed a forepaw out, looking to scratch her own claws down whatever part of his body she could reach, they wouldn't be nearly as sharp as his had been but hopefully it'd still cause some pain, even shallow scrapes could burn. As Ifrit spun toward him and swung his paw, Cináed jumped back to dodge the swipe, just catching the edge of his paw on his shoulder. It took a second for Ifrit to notice who he was, but for a brief moment their eyes met and it was obvious that his brother was just as shocked to see him here as he was. He hesitated for a moment, wondering if this was the right call to even go for him in the fight at all, but Ifrit wasn't backing down and he certainly wouldn't either. When Ifrit surged forward with his head lowered to use his horns, Cináed leapt to his right in an attempt to avoid him, but felt one of his brother's horns knock into his shoulder, making him wince a bit at the impact. As he moved to his right he tried to keep moving forward along Ifrit's left side and tried to throw his shoulder into his brother's on his way by in an attempt to throw off his balance even a bit before he reached for his hind leg, trying to grapple around the limb between his jaws to pull it out from under him.

Fia seemed to get the upper hand on her opponent, maybe just from her size alone. She'd probably never really know. She'd back off just in time to see her sister fail, and with that her next target was easy.

Fia dove right for the red and blue starred woman. Fia of course admired the woman for the way she looked. Especially those scars. But only as much as she could really admire anyone especially with this quick encounter. Fia would actually open her jaw at first, but come snapping it closed at the thought again. Maybe just wanting some type of revenge for her sister. Though she had to remind herself that this was all a practice run. Nothing was meant to be personal.

She'd raise her front paws, hoping to clash hard chest to chest with Tove with her arms aiming to hug around her shoulders. Hopefully with enough force to knock her down but that was probably asking for too much glory.

"Fiametta"

His claws just barely caught his brother's shoulder, but Ifrit didn't care. He wasn't going for an all-out attack, at least not against Cinaed. Not unless it was truly warranted, but considering they hadn't seen each other since Incendium's abandonment, he didn't know what their feelings were towards each other. Still, he surged forward in an effort to push his brother back, and while his horns hadn't made full contact, they still made some form of contact, even if just a bit. His brother moved to come up beside him, seeking to knock into his shoulder, but Ifrit was sturdy on his feet. He pushed back, attempting to shove his brother and do the same that Cinaed just tried to do to him, his claws sinking into the earth for a better grip for the moment. As Cinaed went to grab his hind leg, he allowed the contact, snarling as he felt his brother's teeth wrap around him. Ifrit turned in towards Cina and aimed to grab his brother's own hind leg closest to him with a heavy paw and sought to yank it out from under him, though was somewhat careful not to leave too much of his claws out. It was at that moment too that he noticed his brother's tail. What the fuck had happened there? It was a mere moment of thought before he lowered his head once again and sought to use his horns like a battering ram in an attempt to knock Cina down, or at least compromise his balance.

The smaller wolf was feisty and Chade snarled as Strix teeth bit deeper into the blue man’s paw.  His desire to pull it along and take control of the fight wasn’t going as he had hoped.  As the gray wolf jerked his head up it slammed into Chade’s nose and he finally let go of Strix's neck, lips curling up even s he let go.

Chade had a good idea of what was coming next, stepping back his jaw got clipped by the neck but Strix's teeth got no more than some of Chade’s dense neck fur in his mouth.  Chade threw himself forward again right away, attempting to ram head-on into Strix, aiming to get a new bite into the side of Strix this time.  If Chade could get a good grip he should be able to easily force him to submit with only minor damage.  Not as exciting as bear killing but a nicer way to fight against an ally.

"Chade"

Kotori had managed to be the winner of his fight with Rhysand with limited damage done to either of them.  Kotori had been left with a bite mark on his side and a bit of his blood spilled but hardly anything to slow him down, especially not right now with the excitement of battle before him.  Once victory was fully established Kotori’s eyes skimmed the area for a new target.  

The wolf with the oddly placed horns and carried the scent of Iki had just defeated Sanna.  Kotori left Rhysnd behind to go charging toward Deimos for a second round of battle.  The earth-toned Fatalis came in from the front, mouth open as if he intended to bite for the larger wolf’s throat but once he was close enough to make contact Kotori’s head would lower, ready to jerk it up and stab at where he hoped to find Deimos head waiting.

"Kotori Fatalis"

The woman does the only thing in the world she is good at and fights. Somehow, she gets the upper paw against the taller, purple wolf and claims her first victory for Valta’s side. As her opponent backs away, Tove tries to take a moment to catch her breath as she realizes just how old she is. But the peace is short lived as a red form races toward her and her duel toned eyes snap to the tall girl. As the scarred warrior readies for the battle ahead, a smirk tugs at her lips and she cannot help but admire the youth and respect her for charging in so quickly.

Kicking off, she closes the gap, meeting the red wolf head-on. As her opponent lifts up, Tove mirrors her actions, allowing the girl to slam into her and wrap her red arms around her star speckled shoulders. However, she is swift to shift her weight into her back end, helping to absorb the impact so that she is only pushed slightly backward. Teeth flash out, aiming a bite at the red wolf’s neck, specifically the spot where it meets the chest. She wishes to cause some pain and, maybe, draw a little blood. Sure, they aren’t to do permanent damage but what is a fight without some blood? Having lived with Vikings, it seems almost a betrayal not to spill blood on the battlefield.

And she doesn’t care if it comes from her or her opponent.
