His brother had been spending a significant amount of time with some purple guy, and he wanted to know why. Who was he? Where did he come from? Why the hell was he so attached to his brother? What were his intentions? Were they friends? Or was this guy trying to kidnap his brother or something? While he didn't know the purple guy his brother had been hanging out with, Diablo didn't care to get to know him. Would they get along? Maybe. Maybe not. He wasn't ever really keen on making friends, but it seemed his brother was the opposite. Still, now that they were yearlings, Diablo took it upon himself to investigate, and it seemed their path would lead straight to the Armada's doorstep. Well fuck. Did their dad know they were here? Or any of the pirates? Probably not. Not that Diablo cared, but he didn't know the wolves of the Armada or how they were. All he'd heard was the pirates had beaten their asses in a raid and that they were enemies. So why was his brother up here? He stayed a good bit of distance behind as he watched and followed, not particularly caring if he was spotted but also not outright making himself known that he was tailing them. The purple guy was sus. And them being at their enemies doorstep was even more sus. ooc//vague cuz Idk if Seph was supposed to post first or not :x |

After they had finished creating their newest battle tools, Aresenn suggested they visit some sort of marketplace. At first, the idea seemed a little dull, but after the pirate boy explained that his pack had raided this place, he wanted to see it for himself. Walking into an enemy's doorstep may have been odd for a normal canine, but for the strange duo, getting into trouble had become a part of their routine. And if it would lead to some bloodshed, Sephiran couldn’t help himself. He also wanted to gain more knowledge about the packs that existed here, for when he created one of his own. So, it was a win-win for him to tag along.
They traveled in silence for most of their journey, until Aresenn spoke up when they approached the mouth of a large cave. And, during their trek through the north, the Saxe boy couldn’t deny the feeling that they were being watched by someone. "Or," His gaze shifted toward Aresenn, and he cast him a sly smirk. “They can meet us in the middle.” He attempted to shove his shoulder into him, encouraging him to follow him into the cave. Surely their anticipated company would show up any time now.

The warm Spring days mean even more wolves are traveling to the Marketplace and Andy enjoys watching them. She lays in the shade, near one of the stalls, listening to sounds that the bustling area creates. A smile is on her lips as she watches, simply enjoying the day when a familiar scent hits her nose. The smile drops and her lip pulls up into a small snarl as the purple girl swiftly stands.
Moving toward the entrance of the Marketplace, the girl spies a tall purple boy and a fire-kissed boy. Moving to intercept them, Andromeda stands in their way and glares daggers at the pirate boy. Venom dripping from her words, she snarls, “Your kind isn’t allowed here.” She puts emphasis on the word kind, turning it into an ugly slur with a simple twist of it. Eyes bore holes into the pirate boy as her hackles begin to raise.
Andy has an Eastern Chanting Goshawk named Aquila and two Snow Leopards named Leo and Gemini. They are always nearby.

Aresenn chuckled at his comment, which brought out a long, toothy sneer from the Saxe boy. It wasn’t surprising that he agreed to enter the cave with him, seeing that they were both rather impatient. But before they could move beyond the mouth of the cave, the presence of someone emerging from its depths stopped them. Sephiran pivoted slightly, coming to stand beside Aresenn but at a slight angle, which would show more of his frame to whoever was rushing towards them. It was meant to be a subtle intimidation tactic, that was animalistic in nature and came to him naturally.
He was expecting a large man, cloaked in battle gear that he had never seen before, withdrawing a blade to threaten them. But, what appeared instead, almost made him laugh. A girl with large horns, another oddity he had never seen before who was close to their age rushed forward to intercept them. She was already glaring at them, snarling and spewing insults. Aresenn was quick to retort, seeming unfazed by her comment as he combated with an insult of his own. But Sephiran wasn't as hard-shelled as Aresenn was. He took insolent behavior personally and saw it as a challenge to his superiority. And so, his head dipped to level with his spine, pelt starting to bristle down his nape as he glared at the girl. “What a cocky little thing.” He taunted, as his gaze hungrily roved over her frame, settling an uncomfortable amount of time on her hips. She may have been a bitch but he couldn't help the impulses that flooded his mind, as he fantasized about forcefully mounting her.

The Warlord was warned of the Pirates entrance during his patrol with Levi. They were near enough to the market that the Warlord wished to keep an eye on them, but not interfere. He would not break his own rules. He wasn't terribly impressed when Marshal informed him that Andy had encountered them - but there was nothing saying yet she was breaking any rules. He approached on silent paws, motioning for Levi to do the same. Using his knowledge of the territory to bring them close enough to observe.
He would have been prepared to direct them to the market or away with a stern paw, and a gentle scold to Andy for attempting to break the peace… if it wasn't for the purple wolf. The lecherous eyes that roamed over his child set his back up. He wanted to tear them from the wolfs eyes, but he was only a yearling. A beating, then. One he would not easily forget. No one made rape eyes at his baby girl and got away Scot free.
He gestured for Levi to intercept one of the other children. "A warning only, no maims" he whisper-instructed his grandson before he peeled himself from the shadows. "No one has taught you how to respect a Princess. No matter, I'll correct that" he said. Bear, his companion, gently nudged Andy behind them as he intercepted the purple wolf.

Levi tsked in disapproval. He would have liked to rip off the purple wolf's manhood just on principle alone, but he felt very little desire to degree with his grandfather over this. A fight was a fight, and from the smell of it the red one was a Pirate. Levi did like slapping Pirates around, hm. He felt little desire to give them a telling off, actions spoke far louder than words and Levi's actions were always blaring.
He held Pirates in very low regard these days, but he was doubly questioning the red one's judgement seeing as he was willingly hanging out with the purple creep. Either way, there was one thing that they all should know: all Pirates are to be attacked on sight. Their kind are not welcome here, open market or not.
Growling in the back of his throat, Levi launched himself forward, muscles tightening and talons hooked as he aimed to dig them in deep alongside the red pirate's side, just between slots in the ribs. He was simply seeking out a foothold, a place to grab and climb so he could rip and tear from atop. The sooner he conceded, the less damage would be done really, it wouldn't be Levi's fault if he was stubborn...

Before the girl could respond, two more wolves emerged from the opening of the cave. Perhaps these would be the guards he had been anticipating. His tail rose to align with his spine, eyes shifting from the girl to trace the movement of the two males. He made a quick observation of them both, noting that one was much larger than the other, and much older as well. He said something about respecting a princess, and that he was going to correct that, as a bear came out of no where and escorted the girl away. How quickly the scene had changed, and the fact that a bear was listening to a wolf, made his head spin. But he didn’t have time to process the scene further, before the man was challenging him and Aresenn was being attacked.
Sephian’s pelt bristled, ears folding as he centered his gravity, bracing for impact. Aresenn was refusing to fight, and Sephiran would follow his lead. Though, he was ready to defend himself if he needed to. Just fleeing from a battle without defending himself just wasn’t his forte. And so he stood there, a low growl resonating from his chest, as he waited to see if the male was going to launch an attack.

He remained hidden. Quiet in the background of the bushes as he observed his brother and the purple yearling. While Diablo was no saint, something simply didn't sit right with him when it came to the guy his brother had seemingly been spending time with. Something in his gut told him he couldn't be trusted...but he also wasn't sure. Looks could be deceiving, but judging by the way he was looking at the Armadan girl that had shown up to confront them...Diablo didn't like it one bit. His fur bristled in alarm when he suddenly saw two other Armadan wolves come bursting out. The larger one goes for Seph, and the smaller one went after his brother. He cursed under his breath before breaking out of cover, moving to reach his brother's side and fight with him if necessary. He snarled and growled as Aresenn backed away from the other, unwilling to fight as he mentioned the neutrality that the Armadan's claimed to have for the marketplace that his brother had come to check out. The red mohawk that lined his back bristled with agitation as he stood beside his brother. "Glad I decided to follow. But...Dad isn't gonna be too happy about this..." He muttered to his brother, gaze shifting between the attackers. He didn't want to fight either, but he would if he had to. If anything, he could shift all the blame onto the purple guy. |

I can't destroy what isn't there
“I have no issue with you, Pirate if you wish to see the market. Your friend however has something more nefarious planned, judging by the lecherous look he gave my daughter. She’s under my protection” He warned the purple wolf. He wasn’t going to anything permanent… just rough him up a little so he thought twice before looking at a child the way he had his Andromeda.
He closed the distance between them. Aiming to slam his shoulder against the fractionally shorter wolf. In the same move, he would aim to turn his head in a bid to grab at the other wolf’s neck. If he could grab it, and give it a good shake, he would consider the lesson taught.

As Sephiran set his defenses, readying himself for the larger male to come barreling forward, he gave them a harsh explanation. Aresenn was fine to see the market, but him… well, it seemed he was banned from looking at whatever toys and trinkets they thought were so precious. He had given his daughter a lecherous look, which was undeniable. But whether or not he actually tried to harm her would have been up to how she chose to continue the interaction. Too bad daddy showed up early. This seemed to be a trend with these girls and their fathers. “We just wanted to see your market.” He reiterated what Aresenn said, not trying to defend his case, but merely stating a fact. If his daughter hadn't shown up spewing insults and mocking them, this interaction would have played out much differently.
And when Sirius spoke his last word, he suddenly lunged forward, throwing his larger body at Sephiran. The boy sidestepped, trying to avoid the brunt of the weight. This caused their shoulders to collide, which made him stumble back a few steps. He felt searing pain erupt from the upper portion of his nape, as his assailant's jaws closed around a chunk of fur and flesh. His jaws splayed and he snapped at Sirius out of reflex, trying to grab whatever he could to defend himself as the man started to shake his head.

The two wolves approach the cave that leads out to the market and Andy is there to intercept them. Now, to be fair, the girl just wants to stir the pot a little since she has been struggling with several things in her life. With her sister dragging her into a scheme to run away and her request to move up to Trader rank… well her mind is just fit to burst. While Azure does encourage an attack on sight mentality for pirates, the girl is also aware that the red boy had nothing to do with the raid on their lands.
Yes, Andy wants to cause some trouble, share a few barbed words and maybe follow the two boys around the market while exchanging insults but that is it. All in all, it was just for fun. The red boy trades verbal insults, and his words cause the purple girl to laugh. Just as she is about to offer some well-placed words, his companion speaks up. Were the girl’s jabs with the red boy had been subtle, their corners more rounded, the purple male’s words are sharpened into points and drip venom.
Andy had not looked at the purple boy, saving her words for the pirate alone and she would have willingly allowed the boy entrance into the market since it is not her place to question friendships. His words hit like a physical slap across her face and, as she turns her pale blue eyes to him, the girl finds something dark lurking in his gaze. The surprise that lingered in her eyes morphs into anger and she opens her mouth to offer a retort against the boy’s rude behavior, when her father appears.
Knowing that she has over stepped, Andy snaps her mouth shut and bows her head slightly. Bear intercepts her, ushering her away from the scene and she shoots the purple boy a hard glare. Turning her gaze to the red boy, she lifts an eyebrow in curiosity, her gaze softening into something close to humor. While her father speaks, the girl retreats to the safety of their lands to allow her father and nephew to deal with the pair. She hopes never to see the purple boy again but she would gladly have a verbal spar with the red boy some other time.
Andy has an Eastern Chanting Goshawk named Aquila and two Snow Leopards named Leo and Gemini. They are always nearby.
