And Here... We... Go
Andy, Kite, Briar, and Art!

The trip down to the borders of the Hallows was slow going for the trio. With Andromeda’s telescope tightly wrapped in multiple furs in the wagon, Keahi did not miss the winces she gave every time they encountered a bump. That, along with Kite’s inability to see during the day, meant that the group took a slow and steady approach to the trip. She usually pulled the cart steadily along, allowing the sisters the freedom to be with each other.
With all things considered, the trip goes off without a hitch and she is soon pulling to a stop on the land bridge that butts up against Hallows land. It is late afternoon and the sun is heading toward the horizon when she removes the yoke from her shoulders. Moving away from the cart, the red woman rolls out her shoulders while glancing back to where Andy and Kite are moving to join her. Offering the girls, a smile, even though Kite cannot see it, Keahi cheerfully asks, “Ready?”
Once they signal they are, Keahi tilts her head back and sings for the alphas. As she calls, Andy and Kite lifts their voices as well and the trio happily announce their arrival.

They are finally putting the plan into action and heading down to the Hallows. Where she should have been excited to see her sibling, the girl struggles with anxiety about the whole situation. Her telescope had been loaded gently into the cart that would be carrying their things, its fragile frame and lens wrapped tightly with several thick, plush furs. That, along with armor and other items were packed and the trio departed Armada lands.
Keahi leads the way, shouldering the cart for most of the trip as Andy walks with Kite, helping to guide her during the day when she cannot see well. Pale blue eyes keep constant watch over her telescope and every bump they encounter pulls a wince from the girl. The red wolf does her best to avoid them but there will always be small rocks that they cannot see. Every night, the purple girl checks the special instrument over before she falls asleep, only able to slumber soundly once she knows it is safe.
By the time the small group reaches the borders of the Hallows, Andy is ready for the trip to be over. Keahi stops and removes the yoke from her shoulders while the girls slowly catch up with her. Excitement begins to replace the anxiety as she knows Briar will be out to greet them soon and at the red woman’s question, the purple girl happily nods her agreement as she chirps, “Yeah!” Tail begins to wag as the woman tips her head back, howling for the alphas of the land and Andy excitedly joins in the call. Kite raises her voice as well and the group happily calls out their arrival.

Kyanite was very grateful for Andy and everything she had done for Kite. She stuck close to her sister, almost afraid to let her out of her reach as they made their way down to the Hallows. It was strange to be moving in such a small group, and while she could hear everything, she could see very little.
But Andy had always been the more thoughtful of her siblings. Her sister described the things around as they passed through them. Bringing them alive with her words. On more than one occasion, Kyanite began to feel homesick for Andy and the Armada, knowing what she was going to attempt to do. But at the same time, she wanted and needed this. She couldn’t be weak, and let go of her dream, just because it was hard.
At long last, they arrived at the Hallows territory. “Thank you for escorting us, Keahi” She said to the Diplomat, before turning her head into the direction of the Hallows scent, and raising her muzzle. Joining her song to theres.

The calls of familiar voices coming from the northern grove was not an unexpected surprise to the Aegis. He had known about Kyanite and Andromeda's planned visit for some time now, it had only been a question of when they were actually going to show up that remained and it appeared today would be the day. Lifting his head from the puppy-proofing he was doing to his and Briar's bedchambers in preparation for their next litter's arrival, the blue and black brute shot a pleased grin over to his notably pregnant mate. "Sounds like your sisters are here," he remarked, rising to his paws and beginning to make his way out of Hearthstone with Briar to go greet their guests. It had been some time since Kite and Andy had visited last, and given the nature of how their last visit had turned out, he hoped that this one would be much more pleasant for them.
The weather was gray, but pleasantly mild, a little nip in the Austral winter air as he walked with his queen across the plains to meet the Fatalises at the far border. As the Hallows alphas emerged through the trees, Art noticed that the yearlings were being accompanied by the Armada's resident diplomat, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! Artorias greeted all three ladies with an easy smile, gesturing them across the border with a nod of his head. "C'mon, you guys know you're welcome across," he teased them lightly with a chuckle. Amber eyes lifted to Keahi next. "You too, Miss Keahi. Please stay and rest for a spell with us after your trip."

Briar had just finished pointing out something to fix in their preparations for their up coming litter when familiar voices reached her ears, making them perk with interest. Her attention was quickly pulled away from their work and she grinned at Artorias as he mentioned her sisters arrival. She had been looking forward to their visit for some time now and it looked like they were finally here. Of course she hadn't fully planned on being pregnant during their visit, but that was just how things landed. Life never seemed to slow down or stop for them, one thing was simply replaced by another. Following Artorias out of the room, the Hallows Queen made her way down the corridors and stairs of the castle to make their way out to the border to greet her family. There was a bit of a waddle in her steps with her belly round with their quickly growing pups, but it was still early enough in her pregnancy for it to not cause too much issue for her movement just yet so the walk out to the edge of the grove was no problem.
As soon as they arrived to where Andromeda and Kyanite were waiting, she of course noticed that they had an escort with them in the form of Armada's diplomat, Keahi. She gave the red-hued woman a grateful smile and a dip of her head as a silent thank you for making sure her younger siblings arrived safely before she hurried over to greet them both with warm embraces. "I'm so glad you're both here!" she said excitedly, hugging Andy first before moving to Kite. As she stepped back Artorias invited them across the border and she nodded, waving them forward as well as her tail wagged behind her. "Yes, of course! Please, come in. Are you hungry? I'll get a meal together for you all when we get back to the castle, if you'd like!"

The trio do not have to wait long for Artorias and Briar to appear and Keahi offer them both a respectful bow in greeting. They greet each other warmly and the red woman waits by the cart, once more shouldering the yoke when they begin to move toward the castle. At the Aegis’s words, she dips her head in a thankful bow as she says, “Thank you very much, Artorias. I would appreciate a warm meal and hot bath. We took it slowly so that Andromeda’s telescope did not get damaged. I will secure the cart and then head inside.”
Explaining why they had taken time, she then offering to take care of the cart and its contents effectively has Keahi excusing herself from the group so that the sisters and brother-in-law have a chance to privately catch up.

The trio stand at the border, Andy excitedly wiggling next to her blindfolded sibling as she watches for Briar. As her sister’s familiar tan coat appears through the trees, she is barely able to restrain herself from bounding over the border and greeting her. But, she does and, instead, leans toward Kite to whisper of the approach of Briar and Artorias while they get closer. Briar is quick to close the distance and the purple girl enthusiastically returns the embrace, offering an affectionate nuzzle to her cheek before allowing Briar to step away.
Tail wags happily as she looks between Briar and Artorias and, at his words, the lavender girl easily says, “It is always good manners to wait for permission.” A sage nod is given before a warm smile breaks across her features as she moves to Kite’s side so that they can walk with Art and Briar toward the castle. As Briar speaks of a meal, the girl’s eyes widen with anticipation at the thought of a nice, warm meal. Happily, she says, “That would be amazing.”
Looking to the cart as Keahi begins to move it, she waves a paw at it and says, “I brought my telescope to set up in the tower if that is okay with you. I would like to try and chart some stars on the clear nights.” Of course, there are other items carefully loaded beside it but Andy refrains from mentioning them, instead asking, “How have you both been? I have missed you guys so much!” Sticking close to Kite, she offers gentle nudges and whispered prompts when bushes or rocks get in her way.
