Heavy paws had marched him North. His kids had gone on their first raid, and he had heard about their feats. Or lack thereof. Diablo had failed miserably, and although his other son hadn't succeeded either, it was Diablo he had been most disappointed in for reasons he couldn't quite figure out. Just something deeper that bothered him...or perhaps it bothered the other part of him. He left the Plunder for a day or so, seeking to be alone with his thoughts as he tried to sort things out. He could feel him simmering just beneath the surface of his skin. He didn't know why or what had caused the trigger, but it didn't matter. He was here with him, and Ignis knew he was going to boil over real soon. So to avoid some sort of catastrophe between him and his youngest litter, he felt it was in everyone's best interest that he put some distance between them before he dug himself another hole of regrets.

He hadn't been North in some time, but it was these parts that seemed to have the most pull whenever he was near. But the North seemed to be crawling with activity now. First the Armada, and now Mirovis. Though he had to admit, Mirovis' queen had his interest, but not enough to warrant a visit or a change of his mind to abandon the Pirates and join her. Outside of leadership, he was content with his position in the Plunder. He could do what he wanted without consequence. Be who he wanted without restriction. While Sparrow wasn't in the loop with his true self, she knew enough about him that he could be dangerous when it came down to it. Perhaps that's why he was the Pirates Wrath. He wasn't afraid to show it when it called.

He moved quietly through the crypt, a place he had been to several times, and the darkness and silence of it brought comfort to his ill mind. For one reason or another, this place was one of his go-to places when he needed to get away.

Ignis has a pair of Sika Deer antlers that are not depicted in his artwork (yet).
Ignis is unpredictable and may become violent with little or no provocation due to his "demon" schizophrenia inherited in his bloodline! Consider this your warning!
*Ignis' tail is docked, and his left ear has been torn away and now resembles a Battle crop style.

The North was still largely a mystery to her. Though they'd been here for a while now, Halo was often too busy to explore. There was so much to tend to, to take care of, it was hard to find time. The last time she'd needed more seedlings, she'd been so swamped that she'd just sent Dread instead. With a soft, sad sigh to herself, she thought about the boy. It seemed like he'd finally realized that he couldn't save everyone. He couldn't heal his siblings, not to 100%... and it seemed this frustrated him so badly, it turned him off of healing entirely. With her heart a bit heavy, Halo ventured away from the Armada. She'd find her own seedlings today.

Between Dread's change of heart and the strange summer calm that had spread over the Armada, Halo could feel the grey creeping in again. Her heart hung heavily in her chest. Melancholy. All of her is melancholy, a side-effect of her not being busy enough. Sure, she could go through the motions. She could live the day to day. She could do all of those things, and do them well... why was she so sad? Why did it make her so sad? There was nothing to be sad about.

At odds with herself, she finds her way to the Crypt. Try as she would to force herself to browse for herbs, it seemed that today her head wasn't really in it. As always, she'd blame it on the grey.
