We'll Be Counting Stars

The warm summer nights felt pretty nice this season. With Spring having given way and both flora and fauna exploding, Balian opted to go for a nighttime patrol. Idu rested on his back as a second pair of eyes since his vision wasn't particularly good at night, but the night was too nice to pass up so he figured he'd might as well do something useful as he meandered around. The sweet scent of the orchard was an added bonus as the fruits hung from the trees or fermented on the ground. He was tempted to take a nibble or two from them, but he figured he'd best wait until he was ready to go back to rest. Couldn't do an effective patrol if he was tipsy or something!
