Dusk was a little later to arrive than the rest of the bunch. Being a bit older now, tabs weren't kept upon the girl as harshly as they once had been. So, as they traveled, she wandered. They were going to a party, so she should probably bring a gift, right? Before they left the Hallows, Dusk had thought to bring a basket. She had a gift in mind, but would need a way to carry it. Her aunt Iolaire had taught her how to waterproof a basket with an oiled skin and an extra layer of fat, so the dark child had done so. All she had to do now was collect.

As Dusk made her way north, the girl collected fruit of varying types. There were berries, apples, pears, even grapes. She taste tested each to be sure that they were fit for eating, of course. Dusk even found a watermelon on her journey and moved everything to place the green globe at the bottom of her basket. It was heavy, but it would be worth it.

Once her basket was full and she was close to the Armada, Dusk found a cool stream and dipped the basket within, allowing the running water to chill the fruit. She also washed the fruit as well so that it was clean and gleaming. Couldn't have everyone eating dirty food. Then, with some of the cool water still in the waterproof basket, the Carpathius child took the handle between her strong jaws and made her way to the party.

Dusk deposited the basket of chilled fruit on one of the long tables beside the rest of the feast then made her way towards the imposing form of her grandpa. He always stood out among other wolves because of his size and teeth. Dusk leaned up and placed a little kiss on Sirius' chin. "Hi, Grandpa. I brought some fruit for everyone." Rather than move away, the girl seated herself between her grandpa's giant paws much like she did to her father. Though almost fully grown height-wise, Dusk wouldn't be terribly large. Not in comparison to her siblings anyway.

More and more wolves start to arrive, including Andy. Charlie frowns deeply, glancing toward his sister, but he is waiting for his father to answer. This appeared to be some sort of celebration but… for what? He furrows his brow, remaining quiet as wolves trickle in. He recognizes those from The Hallows, more of their kin, and soon even Kite joins them. He gives a quiet “Hey…” to her and let Andy take the reins of explaining things. Well, whatever was going on, it seemed it was meant to be a good thing, so Charlie let his look of confusion turn to a smile. Behind him his tail began to wag as his father answered, though he didn’t really tell him what was going on. That was fine. It was probably more fun to figure it out in time.

But then Andy posed a question and Charlie furrows his brow. “Not really…” He admits. “I’ve been more focused on trying to get stronger and work on my agility… As well as trying to attend sessions for training where he could. He was also finding himself spending more time exploring the Armada’s market. His gaze would slide back toward his father. He didn’t want to think of that, or of needing to figure out his own spot. Things were starting to begin and Charlie focused on his father.

Wait, this was for them? His smile turned to a grin, wavering only a little at the mention of how their mother couldn’t be there. But she was there, wasn’t she? Charlie was sure he could feel her presence there, warming his heart. She was gone from this plane, but he knew she would be waiting for them. She loved them, all of her children. He would step forward, but then hesitated, glancing at his siblings. He wanted them to do this together.

"Speech," 'Thought.'
