Kotori had wanted to get to know the members of his family better and yet somehow he had spent only a little time with Satira.  He knew facts about her, but no real close relationship had been built.  Today would be different.  He had gone out with Satira, roaming a short ways out from their land to both spend time with her, know her better, and maybe do Kotori’s favorite form of building bonds; killing other predators.

It had been a great spring and into summer which had made hunting easy.  Sure enough, even as Satira and Kotori wandered through the pleasant landscape another individual showed up who had enjoyed the summer.  The male grizzly was large and bulky with a confident swagger in his stride.

The bear roared and Kotori snarled back.  He glanced at Tira, and winked, “care for a bit of fun?” Who wouldn’t find killing bears fun?  The horned wolf lowered his head, charging towards the bear head-on as if he intended to just stab the bear's head.  Kotori wasn’t quite that crazy, dodging to his left as the bear lunged to intercept him.  Kotori took another stride past where the bear had lunged before swinging his hind end around so that he was side by side with it.  Chomping into the bear’s meaty shoulder then jogging away a step when it turned to retaliate.
