Her task had been fairly straightforward. Gather as much information as she could on the wolves of the Armada and begin strengthening the weak points. If they were going to tackle the pirates head on, then they'd need to be prepared. Well and good and prepared. She'd done what she could, squeezing in as many lessons as she could with anyone she could track down. The yearlings would need to be prepared to take on real posts as well, and Hazel had taken it upon herself to work that into their routine as well. It had gone as smoothly as she could have asked for. All that was left was to report back to Sirius.
She returns to speak to Sirius, full report prepared and ready. She'd dropped the necessary information off with Ruga, as well, hoping that this could jumpstart the process. Not that she wanted to overwhelm him, but being ready was better than... being... not ready. Right. She maybe didn't think that thought all the way through. Hazel moved to the Warlord's doorway, calling out for him softly. "Sirius, are you home?"

Time was weird, something Hazel had long-since decided. Strange. All of it was strange. Even stranger... she'd just seen Zoey for the first time since they were kids. Two year olds, the both of them, though in vastly different stages of life already. Hazel was taking on more responsibility as the days went by, stepping up to the plate as best she could. Zoey had found herself among the Stargazers, a healer in service to Celeste. Heck, Celeste wasn't even that much older than they were. It was such a concept, such a wild thought. In all things, time marched on.
"Here, let me help," Hazel stepped up to the Warlord's side, offering to take some of the blankets. Many hands made light work, and they could walk and talk. "I did what you asked. I gathered you a list of those that need more training, and I've been working with them whenever I can." She explained, eager to let Sirius know that she'd at least started on her task. It would take more time to get everyone's skills up, but she'd at least started. "I've been focusing especially on the yearlings, and the newer members of the pack." That had been her approach to things.
"One of Aris's pups, Tethys, seems to want to step up and learn more too." Hazel mentioned with a smile. That particular pup was one she'd taken a shine to, and for good reason. The girl was bold, and Hazel couldn't help but see some of herself in the child. "She even came with me to help the Stargazers hunt."

Taking half of the stack of blankets and helping the Warlord lay them down to air out, Hazel was genuinely happy to help. He'd done so much over the years, it seemed like the little things were what she could give back. Helping him with blankets, running errands for Halo, doing the little things for the family that had adopted her with open arms when she could barely fend for herself. She does things like this because she loves them, you know?
"I hope so," she admitted. Though Sirius's tone had been teasing, Hazel found herself genuinely enjoying the time she'd spent teaching. The pups weren't her primary focus right now, but they were so much fun. She'd really taken a shine to working with the children, more than she ever thought she would or could. "I have the equipment list for Ruga here, if you want to add anything to it." She inclined her head to the basket that Halo had sent her up with, filled with various crafting materials from the garden, some soap, and the list scrawled on the leaf of a large plant she didn't recognize. "He's my next stop, and Halo asked me to bring more stuff to him on the way."
"As for lessons, I worked with Gabriel some, we talked about fighting when you're at a size or weight disadvantage. I took Charlie on market patrol and we talked about how to look for threats we might need to neutralize. I took some time to talk to Grimoire about choosing a path, he has some fighting skill but he hasn't chosen a rank yet." Hazel mentally went over the list of things she'd done with them. "And I did a lesson with Charlie, Dread, and Andy, we talked about how to reflect on your past fights to do better in the next ones." That was perhaps the most important thing that Hazel had learned for herself.
"Every fighter tier three and above has mastered both of their skills, and so has Andy. Malachai and Aris are both close to mastering fighting, and Gabriel still has a ways to go. As for the lower tier ranks, particularly the pups, everyone still needs some work." Hazel admits with a soft nod. "I've started where I can, when I'm not on patrol. Is there anyone you'd like me to focus on?" She's worried that she's not doing enough, that she's not living up to his standards. Hazel asks her question in earnest-- she's still a child doing her best to prove herself. A child. An anxious child's heart in the body of a young woman. She's doing her best.
