Meeting the neighbors

Lorikeet was still adjusting to having her own space. She picked a spacious den, with a low opening and a natural opening that let out the smoke. It gave her room to stretch, and was still decent at keeping her warm. There was room for company, too, and Keetie anticipated much of that.

She left the space, knowing she needed to do some work to really get it up to speed. She had seen some mountain goats, and had intended to hunt one down so she could use the coat as a lovely rug. What she found instead was something a little less expected - a snow leopard, which eyes her up from a lazy rock just to the right of her. She paused, squinting at the creature. If it tussled her, she would be making that coat her own.
