Mixed Feelings

Silent |
The black female was dealing with silent turmoil. She had found out through conversations around the pack that Bronze had been taken as prisoner by Glaciem. It was the price to be paid in the war for defending Valhalla and it ripped her soul into pieces. The pain she felt from losing her husband mixed with the anger of the enemy from taking him and the anxiety of possibly never seeing him again. In short, Silent was an emotional mess. She had asked Aeil and Dragon to look after her children. Her niece had obliged to the favor and went off with the small group to teach them the ways of hunting. She knew that they were in good paws and that was one less thing to worry about. Black paws paced the outside of her den, making patterns in the dirt where she had previously stepped. Silent didn't know what to do. She had to talk to someone - anyone - about what she was feeling. After the last turn, she let out a horrified scream, a yell that made the remaining birds leave the nearby trees. Tears began to fall and she crumpled to the ground with her head in her paws. Without Bronze, she was only halfway whole. |

Loccian |
Not knowing was killing the woman, would the men sent to Vahlhalla be okay, would they come back severely wounded, would they even come back at all? Loccian had been taking a walk, trying to find some herbs that would keep her calm, relax her body and mind. The refugees were taken care of, a place made for them to stay, and the wounded treated, she had time to herself. When she finally came to a stop she found a good plant at her paws, it would slow her racing heart, deal with the nerves and trembling. Quickly she would grab it in her jaws, ripping out a few branches, chewing them up and wallowing. It would take a few minutes for them to take effect. Suddenly the Ambassador jumped at a scream from nearby, the sound of frightened birds and beating wings going over her head. It sounded familiar but at the same time it didn't, somebody within the Kingdom, but was it one of her members or one of the Valhallans? It didn't matter who it was, all she knew was that it was close and seemed like it needed somebody. Off she went, not at a full out run but moving at a decent paced jog. Ears were up and alert, grey orbs scanning the range, looking for whoever made that sound. Within minutes she would find it, a black mass of fur laying on the ground, but near the den of a family... Bronze's. Loccian would slow down to a walk, approaching cautiously, stretching out her neck, grey orbs looking down at the wolf, Silent. Was she okay? "Excuse me, are you okay Lady Silent?" She would ask softly, not wanting to get too close and invade the woman's personal space. "normal. talk. think. you." Awesome table by Briena <3 |

Silent |
Loccian's words broke through the current streams that were rolling down Silent's face. She looked up from the ground, emeralds usually clear now tinged with tears and looking like glass windows during a rainstorm. Her facial fur was matted and her ears flattened against her head. Silent's body trembled and she struggled to answer the Healer's question. "N-n-no..I am not," was all she could get out before the tears continued to flow. She looked back to the ground as she started to stand up, head hanging in sadness from the thoughts running through her majestic cranium. "Bronze was taken prisoner, Lady Loccian," softly came from her black lips. "He was in a fight, apparently they lost, and now he belongs to them." Her voice had slowly risen in sound, anger becoming present in the words and what she emphasized. "Those goddamn Glaciems took my husband and there is nothing I can do about it!" She began to pace again, ears still flatly pinned to her skull. Her lengths were slow and heavy as her head continued to hang. "Their dumbass leader and his horrible pride in control of his actions -- IT'S ALL HIS FAULT! If it wasn't for him, none of this would have happened and Bronze would be here!" Tones broke again and she started to have angry tears forming. Both emotions combined and she let them out in the air. "What am I going to do?! What will happen to my children?! What do I say?..." Silent's breaths became deeper and slower, showing the anger that still burned in her chest. "Those horrible wolves...do they have any idea what they have done to the families of those they have taken?!" |

Loccian |
She looked like a mess, the usual beautiful was now looking up at Loccian with tear filled eyes, the fur around her face matted, ears back, body trembling and seeming to struggle to answer her question. Did something happen to one of her children? Was she okay? What was making her act in such a way? Grey orbs would watch the woman look to the ground trying to stand back up before dumping the news on her. ?Bronze was taken prisoner, Lady Loccian, He was in a fight, apparently they lost, and now he belongs to them." Ears would drop, a look of disbelief crossing the woman as she just stared off, past Silent. It couldn't be possible, how dare they take him, what nerve! The emotions bubbling within her, anger, sadness, worry, fear, and so much more. Seracia sent their warriors to assist, not to be in the front lines, what the hell had happened?! She began to grow angry with the woman, she would have liked to think for more reason since two people she cared deeply about had gone there and one was claimed, but Silent had children with Bronze and she was no longer in her prime. The grey woman would finally snap out of it at the angry mother's voice, quickly shaking her head, listening to her, watching her pace. There wasn't much she could do to calm the woman, words would help a tiny bit but the anger and sadness would still be there. Slowly she would close her eyes, taking in a long, deep but shaky breath before reopening them. She would take a hesitant step forward, trying to stand before the dark woman and brush her neck against her in a gentle manner. ?This is very.... horrible news, I'm so sorry Silent.? She would remain there a few few seconds before pulling away, ears still back but a sadness had made it's way onto her face, her grey orbs swirling with a coldness. There was still so many emotions swirling around within her, ones she wanted to release but felt it would be awkward to do so in front of the woman who was Bronze's mate. Jaws would clench as she turned her head to the side, her own eyes starting to water, but not only for the fate of Bronze... she had not heard anything about her brother... had he been claimed... was he even alive over there? Her breaths would start to become heavy, the idea of him possibly being gone starting to effect her, being alone again... ?I... if anything happens to him, I will help with the children Miss. It would be an honor, bringing a man like him here and then helping with his children...? She would look to the woman, hoping she would have calmed down a bit more by now. "He is strong, and we will get him back, I promise you." Her voice would grow more serious, but it was shaky, eyes still watery. She didn't wanna shift this to her own brother, no, she needed to help the Lady with this horrible news... even if it was hurting her on the inside. "normal. talk. think. you."
