She had never climbed so high nor so far up a mountain before. In all her years alive, Pandora often stuck to the lower level caves to do her work, but when Bekh came to her with word that there was a wondrous temple hidden at the top of the mountain, Pandora gathered some supplies and took off in search of a way up. With Bekh's help, she had managed to navigate the tunnels that led to the top, though not without some trouble. She had nearly fallen into a sink hole. Had almost fallen off a steep drop that Bekh had missed, and nearly broke an ankle when she slipped down a steep incline. Luckily, it seemed the Spirits were on her side today, for she got away from it all with nothing but light scratches and some soreness.

The Warrior Priestess emerged from the dark tunnels to find most of the peak was covered in what she assumed were the clouds. It was damp and cold up here, causing her to shiver. With Winter well over the lands and storms plaguing Boreas, she had hoped that the peaks would be safe, but alas, it would not appear to be. It was dreary up here, though she felt that were she to come on a day when there were no storms, it would be a beautiful sight.

Up here, the sounds of the world seemed muted. It was like something out of Silent Hill, and even Bekh didn't make a sound as he flew low overhead. Then again, he was an owl, so that was probably a given. But still, she couldn't hear her own steps. Her breathing. Nothing. It was almost as if the world had gone silent. She walked slowly and was careful where she placed her feet. She didn't know what surprises were up here, if any.

Viðarr finds himself up here more and more often. It's a comfortable place to think, and he's long adjusted to the thin air. Really, it's made him a better athlete on the ground. In the short time they'd been here, Viðarr finds himself stronger, sharper than ever. Rising to the occasion, well and truly. In his eyes, it was about making the gods proud. Making his family proud. Hell, he'd asked Tenshi to be his wife, he'd brought her a mountain. Now it was all in making this mountain a home.

A glimmer in his icy eyes, the viking king makes his way to what feels like the very edge of the universe. He can feel the gods close by, when he's up here. Viðarr loves it. He's drawn in by it, and he holds it dear. As the shadow steps out into the dreary open. Broad muzzle tipped to the raw breeze, breathing in sharply. Every day was a gift from the gods, but days like these? Viðarr loved them. Bracing and grey, they make him feel alive.

He's not alone up here. There's someone else... Pandora? The older priestess, though Viðarr didn't know her well. He offered a huff of sorts, a greeting, though he didn't quite feel the need for words. Not yet. It's not until he largely closed the gap, approaching with an understated, quiet confidence. "What do you think of the view?"

The world was silent. She could hear nothing but her own thoughts. Bekh came down and landed neatly beside her, silent as death itself. Perhaps that's how it would come for her that way. Either in her sleep, or in battle. She would be fine with either option. It would be when she least expected it. Movement through the mist and fog would catch her eye, and as the figure drew closer, the woman went tense. The hackles along her shoulders bristled, though she relaxed when she realized who it was. Vidarr. The Viking King. She knew little of the man, but he was the one she had chosen to follow. The Spirits had told her it was he who would be destined to lead her back from ruin. The spirits had not led her astray so far...

"I imagine it is most breathtaking when it is clear. Though I must admit, even now, it is peaceful here. I like it," She said softly as she looked up at him. "The Spirits have led me here...I trust their guidance. We have yet to properly meet, so we ought to fix that, I think. Pandora Arcanus, at your service."
