It was time to unleash the little monsters now that they were officially old enough to leave the den! The last few weeks had been hard with them constantly trying to get out, and while a couple of them had succeeded, Medusa had been a little more wary but that wariness quickly went away when she felt that the pack would keep them as safe as possible. She trusted her wolves and the companions within Insomnia to all help keep an eye on the little troublemakers, and Medusa would not hold them back from whatever their little black hearts desired. Already each and every one of them were proving to be a handful, but she had done this once before with her first three...how hard could a couple more be? She called them all out of the den, ready to take them all on their first adventure together and to see how they'd all interact with one another outside of the den. Being cooped up was one thing, how would they do with their new found freedom?? |
As her mate and *ahem* protective detail, Erebos may crash her threads at anytime!
Please note: Medusa is a wildcard! While she is mostly kind, friendly, and eager to help, she can equally be cold, aggressive, and eager to murder you depending on how you treat her! She refers to herself and often, others, in the third person (illeism), and occasionally has tics due to her Tourette's and may giggle and laugh at random, and may twitch here and there. She is a blood & gore type of character, and is not above killing, maiming, or other such violent actions if she's given a reason to do so. It's often in your best interest to not cross her or get on her bad side. Ya never know what she might do c:
The patchy little skeleton kept her head down and her tail out warily behind her. Each step was measured and careful as she walked. Careful. She had to be careful... her siblings were her world, as was Medusa.
With her legs stiff and hackles raised, Rawhide sidled into the open world, only to run a few steps forward, stumble, and begin a low frustrated puppy growl! She blinked rapidly. "B'ite!"
bright!
As he entered the light, a small growl escaped his jaws as he lowered his brown head down. It was so bright! His light eyes were overwhelmed and he tried to use his puppy paw to cover it. In his blind stupor he was clumsily knocking into his siblings, most notably running into the back of Rawhide’s skeleton body.
The boy had spent the better part of his time since the cougar attack healing. His skull hadn't been crushed, but it still smarted awfully bad. At time he still couldn't focus on what was happening in front of him. But he was hanging in there. The most notable difference in him since the event had been neurological. Darting eyes, confusion, a twitchy manner of moving had become prevalent. Though time would tell if they persisted or not into adulthood.
He had watched as Rawhide and Ichabod followed their mother's call. Hesitant, he glanced over at Umbra for a moment; receiving an assuring nod before he took a deep breath in and stepped into the light. It was as bright as it had been when he first left. But much safer in the presence of his mother. No cats. For a moment he felt his head throb, squinting his eyes as he looked out at the vibrant colors of the Dancefloor. He'd be safe this time. Nothing to worry about. Vermillion coat brushed past his siblings still taken aback by the brightness. Huge boy that he was, he still scurried to Medusa's side-brushing into a leg as he addressed her with a tilt of his head. "No things. To break Red's head again. Hurt me, I mean." The boy corrected himself with a quizzical expression, looking back to see who else would follow out from the den.
Redrum speaks in third person, known as illeism.
He deals with neurological issues from head trauma,
Causing disruptions in speech and movement,
Making him appear twitchy, with uncontrollable tics affecting every muscle.
Assume he isn't wearing his skull mask unless specified.
Upon recovering from the brightness Sawbone immediately took it upon himself to begin rolling in the grass, a wide grin on his face as giggles escaped his maw. His tail moved back and forth as his limbs pawed up towards the clouds in the sky. So many new things! New sights, new smells! He wasn’t even really sure what he wanted to do first. He wiggled in the grass, head tilting back as he looked towards his mother.
“Soft!” He is still grinning from ear to ear, looking quite pleased with himself.

Bleh. It was too bright outside! He didn't have a whole lot of interest in leaving the darkness of the den, but his mother was calling them out and one by one, his siblings went out to follow. He got up and toed the line of the outside world, eyes squinting against the light. Bi-colored gaze watched his siblings, unsure of stepping out there. Though it did look pretty interesting...what was out there to explore anyway? It was much more cozy in the den! He was especially wary after Redrum had been brought back by Umbra, bloodied and in critical condition. Though he was healing up fine, Ripper had both been insanely interested in the blood, but also afraid of the same thing happening to him. He had gotten a little taste of Redrum when he was bleeding. Just a wee lick. Though there wasn't anything particularly tasty about it. Medusa had promised she'd keep them safe, and that the pack would help watch over them, and besides...Medusa and Umbra and Seymour and Nox were here, so surely they'd all be safe while they were out there, right? Whining with indecision, he crept out ot the den behind his siblings, slowly making his way over as he sniffed every step to make sure nothing weird would happen. "Ripper is comiiing~" |

One by one they came out of the den, each one in their own way. She watched them with amusement, tail wagging as she continued to beckon them out. She was wary of having them out so young, especially after what happened to Redrum. If it hadn't been for Umbra and Akuma, he likely would have been carried off and killed. She vowed to hunt the beast down and take its life for trying to kill her child, and that day would be soon...Seymour and Umbra had been keeping tabs on it, but her instincts to be a mother came first. But she would get her revenge in due time. Rawhide came out first, the word out of his mouth wasn't quite fully formed but she knew what he was trying to say. Ichabod and Red came next, and her red child, of course, was practically glued to her side, afraid of being attacked again. "Medusa will protect you! Red will not get hurt like that again," She promised as she leaned down to offer him a few, consecutive kisses. She looked up then to find Sawbone racing out of the den and rolling around on the ground, which had Medusa laughing. Ripper came next, and he was as hesitant as some of the others. Understandable, really. "Medusa will protect you all! She will not let anyone hurt any of you!" It was time now to do what...she assumed normal wolves did. Teach them! She patted the ground with a paw, "This is grass! It is soft and fun to play in. Flowers grow from the ground, and our food eats the grass and the flowers! And we eat the animals that eat the...grass." She nodded matter-of-factly before she got up. She supposed she oughta take 'em around and show them where the borders were and all that boring but necessary stuff. |
