Valta had been growing in Kotori’s absence and they were at a point where more land was necessary.  Getting land would require scouting out the terrain and seeing what unexpected problems might be there.  What it could offer, what extra work it would mean to clear up.  His pack had numerous skilled fighters along with several other talents but he lacked a master in the area of navigation.  Thankfully the Hallows had been able to help.

Kotori howled, a questioning call for Bowen.  H was slightly inside the hallows land, and certainly could go further in and to the castle itself but no point in roaming hoping to find her when he could simply let her know he was there.  She could tell him where to meet or just go and meet up with him.  

This was more than just getting a favor from the hallows and having Bowen join his pack for a short while.  This was the sister of the Hallows Aegis.  Perhaps building a good relationship with her would be another stepping stone in improving the trust and bond between Valta and Hallows.

When the offer came to help out another pack with some scouting, Bowen readily agreed to go. She had been ill and getting out, stretching her legs, seeing some of the world, it sounded marvelous. So, when Kotori called for her at the border, Bowen was ready. She had nothing to take with her and would find what she needed, if she needed, along the way. Since she was doing a favor for Valta, it was standard practice for them to keep her housed and fed.

Moving towards the border, the small, copper and ivory fae shot the earthen man a friendly smile. They'd met before, though briefly. "Kotori," she nodded her head. "I'm told that you need some scouting done for a new territory." Bowen motioned the man forward. No need to linger in Auster. "Lead the way."
