It was cold here that was for sure. Ruby fluffed up her fur against the wind while she entered the mines. To seek shelter obviously from this wretched weather. No wonder only the larger wolves tended to come here. Her paws brushed against the floor. There seemed to be some furs around here. When she turned down another tunnel she tensed. Feeling the heat that radiated off a makeshift den.

So there was someone here. Ruby turned her gaze to the dark tunnels. Who was it and she had half a mind to havr some fun. After all it had been a while since shed been able to do that. Her tail twitched sitting on the furs as she waited for whoever it was to return.

Hed gone out for a moment to collect herbs. After tending to his mother and grandfathers graves it had been easy to find a few sprigs of yarrow out in the snow. When hed reentered the mines though he hadnt expected another wolf to be there. A young looking woman, sitting on the furs that hed been sleeping on. Dropping the herbs he stared at her.

"Hello." he stated. Not really sure what else to say. "Are you cold? I have a rabbit i hunted earlier." what was he saying? Fenix didnt really want company right now. He wanted to sink where nobody could find him. Denying that he was hoping Bellamy would seek him out.

Oh and he appeared so quickly. Her ears perked first amused by his surprise. A healer then? Man did he look worse for wear. Ruby blinked for a moment, he even offered her food! What a fool indeed. She lay herself out on the furs smiling to him. "Only if we are sharing my dear boy." she cooed. Then nodded her head. She was cold and what wolf would deny a warm meal?

Ruby didnt know what she was trying to do. Yet seeking companionship wasnt so bad for the late nights. She didnt think this male was in any condition to be with anyone else. Perhaps she could turn him into a new play thing. The mentally fragile were easier for her to work with that was for certain.

He stared at her for a moment longer. He didnt know what he was doing exactly but it appeared she eased his lonliness a bit. Fenix buried his herbs before grabbing the rabbit that he had caught earlier. He sat close to her, hoping she wouldnt mind. It also would be rude of him to take the first bite. It mustve been hard to hunt as a loner. He knew he had struggled at some point.

"My names Fenix. My mother and grandfather have graves here so I was tending to them." he pushed the rabbit toward the strange girl. Finding himself taking in her scent. It was oddly sweet.

She sighed softly, somehow messing with others was slightly losing the edge it gave her. Oh well she couldn’t even begin to give a damn. He brought the rabbit and just like a true gentleman he allowed her the first bite. It wasn’t too much of a meal but after her bite she rolled it over to him. Welcoming his closeness she purposefully pressed their pelts together. Ruby hummed, so a man with a family dead then?

"I’m looking for a place for me and my son to live." she blinked looking around. "You should become a grave keeper then, if you feel so close to the dead you know." her paw circled the furs underneath. Feeding into his warmth for just this moment she wanted to feel like she was fine. Pretend, just enjoying a meal with this kind gentleman.

Her scent was dreamy to him. Somehow the company stirred an emotion akin to a want. He didn’t know this woman, she was a stranger who intruded on him and his dark whirling mind. He cared not for his feelings but maybe she could ease a bit of his pain in his chest. They finished the rabbit before he could answer her. A grave keeper huh? That wasn’t actually too bad of an idea. Handling the dead, something he kind of wished he was. Fenix started to nibble around her cheek then, moving along her side.

"This grave keeper could give you a gift." he whispered into her ear. If she rejected him that was fine. He didn’t plan on ever seeing this woman again after all. But he wanted to try and at least feel…. Something. If she was the path to that then he’d take the opportunity. Not to mention his hazy lustful thoughts that seemed to be crawling their way into him.

The rabbit was a nice and sweet snack. Truly she wished it would’ve lasted longer perhaps so she could spend some more time with him, but why? It was when he began to nibble on her that her fur prickled with excitement. Oh so he wanted to play with her? What was one more body on her beautiful and sultry fur. She leaned into his kisses his words sparking want in her too. He was nothing more than a tool, she enjoyed playing around with whoever she could after all. A deplorable being.

"Oh, please do." she shifted a bit. Better make this easier for him after all, he didn’t seem to bed all in a good sorts. Judging by his skinny frame which was odd since she faintly smelled pack on him. Ruby pulled her tail off to the side, placing a paw one moment on his own. ‘You’re type are the best company." she whispered to him. Maybe akin to flirting if it got her point across.

He didn’t actually want to make this a mistake. In the back of his head his logical thoughts left no opening. She didn’t reject though and already seemed to be shifting for him. He didn’t know where she came from, maybe she wasn’t real? Still his task continued then, her paw and whispers pulling into him. Fenix stood and stared down at her. He nipped at her cheeks and moved further onto her to entangle their bodies. He lowered himself, taking in her scent and the warmth he felt coming off her body. She’d even moved her tail for him, how romantic was that? A joke to him of course but maybe something would come out of it.

Pleasure was not one of his strong points. Even in his supposed foreplay. A male like him had only one mate and she had died rather young. It was hard to believe how long ago that actually had been. In mating, he probably wouldn’t be too inclined for needs. Even so he entangled them together. His last thoughts fading as the true game began.

So they spent the night together. Close to sunrise she felt her body waking, breath returning to her as she looked over at her one time lover. Yet he still slept so soundly and like a puppy to. Yet his face held a very disturbed quality to it. Ruby supposed there wasn’t anything she wanted to do for him. He’d been… okay she guessed. Making her wanting something possibly better. Carefully she tried to pry herself away without waking the male. The warmth from a nights sleep fading as cool morning wind penetrated her fur.

"I’d wish you luck, but honestly I don’t care." she whispered as she neared the entrance of the den. Taking her time to find the exit. So the mines right now, would be out of the question for her settlement. If she remembered there was a certain mountain she wanted to check out. She moved away heading out of the north. She probably wouldn’t even remember who this man was in a few weeks.
