Well, wasn't this just odd? A lion in the north? What in the hell was the thing doing here? Kaino had been tracking the big cat for some time out of curiosity's sake. The big male wandered through the snows as though it was out of its mind. It clearly had no idea where it was going. The beast trailed down the length of the wall, making odd lowing sounds as though it was searching for something. Strange. The cat suddenly turned as Kaino followed and laid eyes upon the puff-tailed wolf. Her big, bunny tail lifted and her coat bristled. Lips pulled back to flash teeth in a warning. She hadn't meant to fight the beast, but... if it wanted a battle... As the lion rushed her, Kaino dodged, being significantly smaller. She spun, latching teeth into one hind leg. She tasted blood and whipped her head back and forth, doing as much damage as she could manage to that sensitive little tendon in the heel. The cat screamed and spun, but Kai had already released it and danced back, preparing for her next attack. "Speech"

Wylan had been pretty good about not crossing over outside of Armada territory. But it wasn’t his fault! It was the little Polar Bear, he had gotten distracted by a butterfly and wandered off outside of the woods. Wylan had cozied up to the border and hissed at his parting figure, but hadn’t been able to get his attention. He’d had no choice but to leave the woods, right? He couldn’t just leave the silly thing out there. He chased after his companion, but the bear had already reached the wall and gone around to the other side. “Come back!” Wylan called out, trotting up to the wall, and looking for a place where his larger form could jump over, too. He clambered over the rocky wall, and was resting on the top when he heard a sudden commotion. The sound of growling that was shockingly close! He peered over the other side, and found his companion staring at the back of a lion - which in turn was staring at a wolf! He jumped off the wall, spreading his wings in an attempt to slow his fall. He hit the ground hard, but kept his footing as he stumbled closer. “Hey! Shoo! Bad kitty!” He yelled, puffing up his body and wings as he trotted closer, head bobbing like a vulture "Speech"

Distractions ran rampant in the world, but Kaino hadn't expected one quite like that. Tumbling over the wall was a little round bear. It rolled over the stone and into the snow before righting itself and growling. A moment later, another form came over the wall. A wolf... with wings. What in the hell... The boy yelled at the lion and Kaino scoffed in disbelief. The kid had no idea what he was doing. "Have a care, bird-child," silken tones called out to the boy. The lion had turned to look at the winged wolf and Kai used the opportunity to her advantage. This time she bit the other tendon, ripping and tearing as she had before. Both heels were bloody and the feline staggered as it turned to swipe at her again. "Speech"

“It’s okay, I’ve got your back!” He called out to the stranger, misunderstanding their warning. The tiger was looking at him now, and his polar beat rose to its full - if not very impressive- height and growled at the tiger, daring it to come closer. As the bear and pup distracted it, the stranger attacked again. Going in for a strike against its ankle. Actually, now that he was paying attention, he realised it was the second such damaged ankle now.

Ankles seemed like a good idea. Taking that as a hint, he opened his maw wide. With a roar, and flapping his wings, he charged in. “Roooooooar!” growled the excitable puppy who had never been in danger even once in his whole life.

With more blood falling and the lion staggering, Kaino released it from her grip just as she had before. In this state, it would heal in time, but it would think twice about messing with wolves again. The boy was calling out from the other side of the lion and Kai grimaced. "Gods above..." The winged child held the lions attention, but he shouldn't have. Kai rushed around and placed herself between the boy and the lion. Blood clung to her maw and she snarled at the cat, lavender and silver coat bristling. The lion, finally realizing that it was outmatched due to its injuries, turned and began to amble off. Surely it was in a great amount of pain. Kai turned to the boy and motioned with one paw towards the retreating lion. "Why don't you give him a big howl to let him know that we mean business?" Not waiting for the boy, the svelte fae tipped her head back and let out a long, beautiful howl that echoed off of the wall and the trees around them. "Speech"

As he charged in, the unnamed stranger suddenly darted around the lion, and placed herself between Lion and Boy. He skidded to a stop before he could plough into the other wolf. He peeked around her and let out another few puppy yips. “Yeah, you better run!” He told it’s fleeing form.

He looked over at the pretty lilac - brushed wolf and grinned at her suggestion. His tail wiggling excitedly behind him, he watched her raise her head to howl. After a second he joined in, lifting his head to the sky and letting his boyish voice join with hers. Not realising of course that he was probably also about to bring trouble down on his head from the Armada. Woops.
